Still rockin 6 years later.
Pros: Like the others here, I've had this little chip in my main rig for about 6 years now, and it's still tearing right along. I can still run the newest game in high/ultra settings, and all I've upgraded since this system was built was an SSD, Radeon HD 6870, and Win8. It's been overclocked to 3.4+Ghz with a Zalman 9700 led cooler for the entire time, and the thing is reliable as ever.
Cons: I have seen some SLIGHT hiccups in processor intensive games. The most noticeable was Planetside 2, when there were hundreds of players in the same are in a zerg attack. This was a pretty extreme case of CPU intensive gaming, so I can accept that.
Overall Review: Like others have said, I'd gladly nominate this chip for best processor of all time. It's the most solid piece of computer hardware I've ever owned.
Piece of junk
Pros: Colorful
Cons: Everything else
Overall Review: Had this for a few months and it has been nothing but problems. Speakers seem to fade in/out at all times and simply don't work. I've tried reinstalling every single combination of driver, and adjusting every single setting. I've tried doing system resets and restores. Nothing. Charging plug has lost all retention, so it falls out if I even move the laptop. This thing has been nothing but a nightmare in about anything I've done with it. Will try to RMA or will sell it and buy a quality brand.
Beware Mail-In Rebate Offers...
Pros: The case itself is well built for the dollar spent. The fans keep air moving nicely and allowed me to achieve a nice overclock on air with my cpu and gpu. The drives were easy to install. The tooless retainers for the 3.5" bay was a bit of a pain but it worked out in with a little adjusting.
Cons: The rebate from WorldWideRebates is an absolute scam. The shipping dept put the shipping label right on top of my UPC code so I scraped it off well enough to see the bar code and sent in every bar code on the box. A week later I get an email stating that the UPC was not included and to NOT REPLY to it. I'm pi**ed off that I even bothered going through all the hassle just to get defrauded of the rebate money. Don't deal with them at all - scam. On the case, the only negative i've found is that the toolless retainers for the expansion slots are a bit loose so I had to use regular screws. Also, the front grilles for the drive bays are a bit loose and come out if you move the case and accidentaly push one in. It's not really bad, just annoying sometimes.
Overall Review: Overall the case is worth it. Don't expect to get any rebate money back if there is one.
