Not for the Faint @ Heart

ASUS P5E3 PREMIUM/WIFI-AP @n LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5E3 PREMIUM/WIFI-AP @n LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Many features for the enthusiast with lots of OC options. Booted up 1st time. Energy saving features. Passive massive heatsink coolers. Currently top of the line chipset (X48). Two SATA controller chips with multiple RAID options. Board is very well laid out, quality metal caps, clean design. Audio sound great from HD onboard solution. Adds to a successful mobo line that's tried and tested (P5E3 family). Stable and easily Oc'd later to 3.2GHz CPU (from 2.66 stock) and 1600 MHz DDR3 speed. May well go higher but not needed at this time. My 9800 GTX works great. If you want to tease more speed and brag, the feature set with this board will do it for you - but be prepared for a trial of whats-up-nows?...

Cons: ASUS is a bit slow to do BIOS updates. Makes SURE your memory and CPU are on the official support list on the ASUS site. Mine work but aren't officially supported. EZ Flash BIOS Utility has caused a lot of headaches. Express Gate feature ditto, often disabled to make sure all else functions. Some 45nm CPUs not yet supported (Q9450,Q9300 not on the list of qualified CPUs ... yet.)Make sure your CPU Cooler will fit onto the board as the copper heatpipes may interfere with bigger aftermarket coolers.I highly recommend the Artic Freezer 7 Pro if your case will fit its height. Pricey mobo and must use expensive DDR3...go elsewhere if you need to save $. Some users are having graphics board hassles as not all seem to work properly with Crossfire or a single NVidia GX2 card -(obviously only ATI boards can use Crossfire ie 2 boards in SLI).I went with a single NVidia eVGA 9800GTX for the benefit of best game support and drivers.

Overall Review: This is a superb choice for any device as it is FAST and top notch quality.

Good EVGA 700 Watt PSU But only Bronze Rated, Not Full Modular Cabling

EVGA 700 BQ, 80+ BRONZE 700W, Semi Modular, 5 Year Warranty, Power Supply 110-BQ-0700-V1

Pros: EVGA dependability; NEWEGG Purchase

Cons: Only Bronze Rated, Not Full Modular Cabling Newegg Shuffle Combo; Had to get this PSU bundled to get the EVGA 3070Ti Video Card I wanted so bad...

Overall Review: Limited by Bronze Rating and only 700W. I would not buy this alone but am stuck with it as I really wanted the EVGA 3070Ti Video Card it was bundled with in the NEWEGG SHUFFLE I lucked out and won. Don't get me wrong, EVGA has quality products so this will be a spare PSU if I ever need one...

Shuffle Win! EVGA 3070Ti Top Notch Video Card

EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING Video Card, 08G-P5-3797-KL, 8GB GDDR6X, iCX3 Technology, ARGB LED, Metal Backplate

Pros: Hard to get but slick and dependable with excellent video quality. I love EVGA for their great products! NEWEGG is as always SUPERB!

Cons: Cost and High Power Consumption at 270 Watts; not stressing it that much though.

Overall Review: I Recommend this card if you can get one! Great product, good luck in the Newegg shuffle!

Pros: Good choice and can't beat the price for a drive that will read Blu Ray and HD (not write them though). Whatta price compared to the days of $300 CD only writers!

Cons: None.

Overall Review: SATA is the way to go. BluRay writers are rapidly dropping in price but the media's still too high. Great funtionality with this drive.

Great Choice for NVidia Card

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N871-AR

Pros: A fine choice for gaming or other options. Cross ship RMA policy available for a tiny additional cost from eVGA. Runs cool and the fan is not loud. Dual monitor capable, dual HDMI out. eVGA has an upgrade policy.

Cons: None at this time. Pricey of course, but there's always something new around the corner which causes the price to drop...at this time this was the right price/performance solution for me.
