SUPER for the $$$
Pros: This little sucker is pretty amazing! Good battery life, sound is pretty good (7.5 outta 10), comes with a radio, has a clip and is "drag and drop" compatible (no silly iTunes DRM!!!!!). Easy to navigate. Great price!
Cons: Yes, screen resolution is pretty low. Also, case seems a bit cheap compared to Apple products (but, plastic is WAY better for durability, such as drops/falls).
Overall Review: I'm keeping mine.
Cheap, but difficult to install and seat cushion is already compressed :(
Pros: Cheap and relatively good for the price compared to other retailers. Generally, I think Rosewill products are good for the money.
Cons: First, I never got the rebate (that sours me a bit). Second, it was difficult to install the chair and was not intuitive (perhaps they were designing around patents?). Third, and most importantly, the seat cushion is now really compressed (I'm not a large guy or excessively heavy). So, I guess I will have to get a seat cushion for my seat cushion!
Overall Review: I would generally avoid unless you can get it on sale (ignore a rebate offer).
Works perfectly in Ubuntu 16.04!
Pros: I needed a card to run a 4k screen through the HDMI interface. This has very good open-source support and plays all the HEVC videos I could throw at it. I did not game with it (this is a work computer). Very pleased with price and awesome Newegg service.
Cons: You can get a faster card for gaming by spending double.
Overall Review: Newegg seriously rocks! Cheers to AMD for embracing open source.
Excellent features, no plastic touching water but a bit slow to boil...
Pros: Looks nice, double-wall (good for safety), easy to fill, very reasonably-priced.
Cons: A bit slow to boil compared to my other unit. I think this is because of the way the shutoff was designed (it needs a certain amount of steam to trigger the shutoff). Also, the pour spout is decent, not great.
Overall Review: The positive of the "slow boil" is that the unit really, really gets that water HOT. My other unit would shutoff once you started to hear the rolling boil sound. This one, on the other hand, will keep a roiling boil until lots of steam starts emitting from the top.
Great low-priced digital scale!
Pros: Great, affordable and accurate scale. I use it for postage in my office and have no complaints. Seems to be very accurate (readings are basically the same as the post office scale). Recommended.
Cons: Not recommended for large/heavy packages (use a bathroom scale instead).
Works well for me...
Pros: Works well for me (getting 3-5MB/sec) across two different electrical circuits in an old house. Low power consumption. Units are dead silent to me. Plug and play. Really affordable. Pretty magical to get wired Ethernet without having to run new wires.... Good return policy with Newegg Premier (just buy and return if it doesn't work for you).
Cons: I *hate* that while it takes only one socket, it's designed to take up *two* from the wall (and, you can't plug these into power or surge strips because of signal degradation). Seems most other manufacturers are doing this to discourage plugging into a surge strip. Bummer! So, I am getting some 1FT power extension cables to plug into the wall to free up my other socket. Also, speeds are not as fast as standard Ethernet cable (good for web surfing, but not intense file sharing).
Overall Review: Despite what you read, this cannot fully replace Cat5e/Cat6 networking cable. Since my home is partially wired, this is a great accessory item (ex: running a webcam or a difficult to reach room). But, this would be too slow to do full heavy file sharing to/from your local NAS (I get 120MB/sec on my Cat5e wired network versus 3-5MB/sec from this device).
