Excellent ground detection and more

Pros: Because of this surge protector I was able to detect and repair 2 improperly installed outlets and a bad ground on an entire circuit. It all started when the "not grounded" light came on for one, and then several of my outlets as I got curious and tested them all. The first one ended up having a ground but reversed polarity (the hot wire was on the neutral side of the plug and vice versa). Another outlet turned out to have a bad plug (I had spares from replacing other outlets that were ugly/old). The remaining problem outlets were all on the same circuit and I was able to trace the problem to a junction box with poorly bonded grounds. I actually measured several Megohms of resistance from the neutral to the ground on these outlets and knew something was up. The resistance normally should be very low, a few at best. Other than that I couldn't really measure how well it "filters/cleans" the noise from the lines but everything appears to be working well. It's convenient that the outlets face lateral to the length of the strip as many newer power adapters stick out to the side.
Cons: None at the moment.
Another cheap trick Acer monitor.

Pros: Cheap, very light weight, great energy efficiency, decent pixel pitch.
Cons: Blue, blue, and more blue. This thing HAS to be made with the cheapest LED back lighting possible. Me and my OCD self tried a hundred settings, calibration tests, etc, but no matter what I couldn't eliminate the blue hue this monitor puts out. Another issue is the wishy washy colors. Again, the colors, not the sharpness which is actually quite good. The colors themselves are negatively affected by the constant blue tint this monitor puts off. There's simply no deep rich/vivid color to this monitor, reminds me of cheap economical office monitors (which I guess this really is). The brightness is okay at best, I think it could be a little brighter. I tried several games and each one needed adjustments in brightness based off the in-game brightness adjustments (L4D, Killing Floor). And just to add a little insult to injury this unit came with one stuck white pixel. In the dark games I play, this is a big sore thumb sticking out.
Overall Review: I might be a little harsh on the score, but then again I knew Acer never really made good monitors (even the monitor on my girlfriends Acer laptop has washed out dull colors). Overall the final verdict is, do NOT buy this as a gaming monitor, the color's similar aren't rich enough nor is the light/dark balanced enough. For a nice big office monitor this thing would probably rate 4/5 eggs. Pro Tip: Do NOT install the software this monitor comes with. Because now I cannot get it off without several errors and even then it will not uninstall properly.
Excellent color depth, richness, and performance

Pros: First off, the color. I purchased this monitor to replace an old Westinghouse 24" L2410NM MVA panel monitor. I purchased two plain TN monitors (Acer, then Samsung) prior to this one and the color didn't come close (the Samsung was better but overall still very lacking). The blackness depth and color vibrance of this monitor is on par if not better than the MVA panel. Another bonus is that this monitor doesn't seem to suffer the usual blueish hue that most LED backlit monitors from. In addition gaming performance is stellar, even in quick and fast FPS games I notice no ghosting; pretty snappy. Power consumption is another very big bonus, especially seeing how my last 24" beast monitor would chug about 100W while this thing coasts in about the high 20's. Last and certainly not least, the price. Yes, it's a 16:9 monitor but if you want equivalent quality in 16:10 you're going to easily pay $100 more for that extra inch. At $180 and a bonus $20 promo card this is hands down the best bang for your buck monitor period.
Cons: I honestly couldn't find any cons with this device.
Overall Review: The initial brightness is a bit high so I brought it down to about 66. The stand seems pretty sturdy to me. No shaking or anything while gaming or typing.
Excellent Mic

Pros: The USB connector is a huge plus; especially for computers that have only the usually very noisy integrated audio. Very crisp and clear recording. No strange hissing or white noise you get from analog connected mics. Has a very good range if you crank the input to 100 in control panel.
Cons: A possibly con that I can think of is that probably over time the way you adjust the microphone position may wear out since it doesn't click in place but instead relies on being clamped by the base molding to stay put. This is just speculation but I see it as plausible issue.
Overall Review: VERY IMPORTANT: For users that say you have to have the "mic down your throat" or "three inches away" be SURE to turn UP the mic input level under Sound inside the Control Panel. By default when I plugged this mic in it was on 7 out of 100. Of course you're going to need to be right on top of it at that setting. Set it to 100 and you can even be across the room and this thing will pick up nice and clear. This is the second one I've purchased in which I've owned the first for over a year with zero issues.
Loud but good

Pros: Works well. Burns DVD/CDs fast without a problem
Cons: Loud. Very loud. I'm not sure what happened with that "AVRS" marketing ploy but this is hands down the loudest DVD drive I've ever owned and used. It makes a funky noise when you come from standby/startup and no matter the type of media, pressed, burned, low quality, high quality it vibrates in a range from either moderately loud to very loud. Fortunately I don't play movies from it but if you're thinking about a HTPC I would steer clear of this drive.
Overall Review: I suppose the noise issue could possibly be an issue but I haven't fully tested it outside of the case. Having read many other similar reviews it seems to be a bit too coincidental.
Great unit!

Pros: With regards to cooking this mini convection oven does a pretty good job for its size. We've had it for a couple of weeks and tried out reheating pizza, baking potatoes (5 at once), frozen fries & chicken strips and everything cooks well within the time specified. It has an all-around stainless steel finish such it has a nice look to it. It comes with a baking tray and a metal grill tray. The back of the unit recesses a little bit so I'm certain you can get a pie, cake, or even a small whole pizza in this thing.
Cons: The timer knob makes a ticking sound; I don't find it necessary since the unit makes an nicely audible 'ding' noise when it's finished.
