Excellent Boot Drive
Pros: Amazingly Fast - you've heard it all before. Quiet No heat
Cons: Price / GB Storage Capacity
Overall Review: You Can't beat this device as a boot drive. Running Win7 x64 on an Asus P5Q, Q9650, 8GB Dominator Ram. Everything is almost instant. Photoshop CS3 starts in 2 seconds. My WD 1TB Black was fast but it's no match for this drive. Trim won't work (yet) for me since I have this drive on the Intel Matrix. I have a pair of WD 640's in Raid 0 so I can't run the AHCI Microsoft drivers. I need to wait for the Intel Matrix updates to support trim. The intel SSD tool is very easy to use and does the same thing as trim so it's really not that big of an issue. The ICY DOCK M8882SP was a great match for this drive.
Input power amperage misleading
Pros: decent MAH rating size small enough for amount of power
Cons: i bought this for faster charging. i was looking for a 2A input charge on a battery pack. the max charge rate into this battery is about 1.35A. it doesn't accept 2A input, even when the battery is fully depleted. When charging, the lights blink from 1-4 stars continuously, no matter how much it's charged. it looks pretty, you know it's charging, but you don't know how much it's charged. A better way to do this, like most other battery packs, is to show an indicator of how much it is charged by blinking only 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 stars indicating 0-25, 25-50, 50-75, 75-100% charged.
works great
Pros: refurb works like new
Cons: none
Overall Review: Unit came with quick shipping, in great shape, and worked as expected.
Excellent Product + Great Customer Service
Pros: 4 HD Tuners Small Footprint Ceton Support Less equipment needed from cable company
Cons: Setup can be tricky
Overall Review: I recently purchased the PCIe version of this card. My cable company started scrambling all the QAM channels so i had to dump my Hauppauge card and get something different. After some reading, I decided on this one. I followed the instructions provided by Ceton. I actually had no problems with the install. I thought everything was working fine until I noticed all of my programs stopped recording after about 50 minutes. I decided to contact Ceton. They immediatly got back to me via email and helped me troubleshoot the problem. I must say that I was very impressed with their customer service. I got emails returned on weekends, late at night, etc. I finally got my problem fixed and everything is working great now. This card, along with Windows Media Center is simply fantastic.
Great for the Price
Pros: Fast, Cheap (compared to other SSD's anyway) - especially when it was on sale for $124
Cons: I couldn't figure out how to tell the FW version without creating a boot CD with the latest firmware. I basically created a coaster to get the FW rev.
Overall Review: I have this one and the Intel X25M 80gb. I bought this one to put into a spare PC for my Family. I put Win7 on this and moved the pagefile, Windows Temp Directory, User Files, etc to a Hard drive to cut down the writes and get more life from the SSD. So far, so good. It came with the latest firmware
Excellent for my Intel 80GB SSD
Pros: Good construction Lightweight Very Easy installation of drive
Cons: Plastic - but of good quality
Overall Review: I put my brand new Intel 80GB SSD in this converter. The process couldn't have been easier. I had no problem mounting the drive in my Antec P182 case. Highly recommended.
