Great Deal!

GIGABYTE GA-EP45C-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45C-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great overall Motherboard. I would go with Gigabyte again. Although I have only had it for about a week I find that stability is great, has bunch of features and slots on the motherboard. Plenty of overclocking tools which is great for those who like to overclock (mine is kept at stock speed). I like how it keeps the older IDE and floppy ports on the MB so you have the option to use older drives. I'm running a Lightscribe DVD burner from one of the other older computers that runs off IDE, so that is defiantly a great addon to this board. You also have plenty of SATA ports, etc, etc. Tons of USB on the back, 8 if I recall. AWESOME. Nice and affordable, give it a shot.

Cons: None at the moment.

I Like it a lot.

Pros: Afordable solution to getting and OS when building a new PC. Installs easy, just boot from disc drive and your on your way to installing.

Cons: Lower the price ?

Pretty Fast

Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS 150GB 10000 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Pretty fast for the most part, takes about 30 seconds to bootup into vista with everything loaded. Installing software is really quick but not quite as quick as I was expecting. I can't give this a good comparison to 7,200 RPM drives because this is the first time I've had Vista on my system, which runs a lot different than XP. Overall great drive for the money though and you can notice difference in speed, especially in installing/uninstalling software and bootup. I use this for my Primary boot drive and a 1TB WD Green for storage. Nice and quite.

Cons: Price is a little steep. Not as fast as expected, but still real fast.

No Problem here.

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2P10664GK

Pros: Awesome RAM. No problems at all, just plug and play. BIOS auto detected at rated speed 1066 which was nice. Many people here are stating they have problems with it running at 800, and having to change speeds in BIOS. Didn't have that problem here, most likely different depending on what motherboard you buy. I was almost certain I would have had to change speeds in BIOS but didn't have to. 8 Gigs of this RAM makes my machine smoking fast. Thanks OCZ for such a great product. Just sent my rebate in a few days ago, hopefully I'll get them soon.

Cons: Can only use 1 rebate, even if you bought two sets of these. Owell, worth it anyways.

Pros: Decent CPU for the price. Not bad at all for a Quad-Core. Runs smooth at stock speed and im sure it could easily be overclocked if you choose.

Cons: None at the moment.

Does the Job!

Antec NeoPower 650 Blue 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This thing does the job. You can see my setup below in the "other thoughts" section and see my setup. It has no problem running everything that I have. What I like most about this PSU than other ones on the market is that you don't need to all power cords plugged into the PSU even if your not using them. With the modular design you are able to plug in the ones you need and keep the ones you don't need out of your case. Attached permanently too the PSU though are things like 20+4 pin MB Power, CPU Power. No, problem there though. Great product, would recommend you get this or one similar if you are in the market to buy a new PSU. Make sure you get one that is Modular, that's a must!

Cons: None.
