Great Hard Drive
Pros: I replaced a Caviar Green 1tb drive with this one and it provides a big boost in Windows boot time and application load times. It runs quietly and only 5F degrees warmer than the 1tb Green drive.
Cons: None
Overall Review: The SATA 6gb/s is pretty useless with a mechanical hdd. Make sure you use a jumper to slow it down to SATA 3gb/s if using an older motherboard. The jumper is NOT included with the bare drive so have one on hand for your installation.
What a Deal!
Pros: Simple to use scanner tool. Does everything it claims and does it well. Great tool for the do it yourselfer or to get an idea of repair costs before you bring your car in for repairs. Highly recommended
Cons: None
Great Cooler!
Pros: Can be used on AMD and Intel CPU's Small enough to be used in a mid-tower case easily. Can be installed without removing the mobo (AMD only) and can be controlled manually or by the bios. Replaced stock cooler that ran hot under load 55C+ Now runs in the mid 40'sC
Cons: Kind of tricky installing the fan clamp to the mobo but other than that a breeze to install.
Overall Review: CPU: AMD PhenomII X4 940BE overclocked to 3.4ghz
Great processor!
Pros: Replaced my 7850BEx2 with this cpu and it is well worth it. Overclocks easily to 3.4ghz using a Zalman CNPS8000 cooler. It just speeds up everything from boot time to gaming frame rates over the 7850BE.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Don't try to overclock this cpu with the stock fan it will over heat quickly.
Cool and Green
Pros: As easy as it gets, just plug it in and go. Runs very cool (4-5 degrees above room temp) and is very quiet. Replaced a Seagate 500 gig with this one. Green technology does not affect performance in day to day use.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I purchased a WD secure cable from wdc.com since this was an oem drive and did not come with a cable. A regular sata cable will work fine but I like the extra connection security it provides.
GREAT CASE!
Pros: Very roomy, Nice fit and finish. Easy to install hdd's Two fans (120 and 80mm) included. A little wider and higher than most mid-towers. Very quiet.
Cons: Documentation is useless but not really needed much. Plastic on quick release tabs is brittle. I broke one trying to figure out how to use them. I wish the front USB ports were on the top instead of low down but not a major flaw.
