SeaSonic SS-750KM3 750W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It came with a cool little velvet sack and cable bag (nice but unnecessary). It works fine and it is modular so cable management is a breeze.

Cons: It makes a high pitched noise that is not very noticeable but is still there. My fans drown out most of the sound so its not a big problem

Works

Lenovo 15.6" Intel Core i3-3120M 4GB Memory DDR3 1333 Windows 8 59359688
Lenovo 15.6" Intel Core i3-3120M 4GB Memory DDR3 1333 Windows 8 59359688

Pros: It's cheap. It works fairly well for paper pushing and internet browsing. Resolution is fair. The keyboard is responsive and easy to type with. It is very quiet and doesn't feel too heavy in a backpack.

Cons: First off, since this computer is so cheap, there are things they had to compromise. The battery is horrible. Just typing and internet browsing will wear the battery down in less than 3 hours and maybe even within 2 hours. I haven't timed it but it seems fairly short. The touchpad is pretty bad. The touchpad will stop working for 20 seconds randomly. The touchpad is also poorly made and is hard to use. The headphone jack is wonky. Mine goes way deeper than a normal 1/8" and I have to put the headphones in just the right amount to get the whole spectrum of a song or video. Sometimes it is impossible to find the sweet spot. The computer takes a long time to load everything. It will turn on fairly quickly but I cant use the internet or any apps for about a minute after the computer is on the tiles. But I have an SSD in my home computer so it might not seem as slow to others and I have yet to get rid of bloatware. The wireless card is weird as well. At home, I can get 2 bars of connectivity but at my college I can get full bars. I guess it just depends on the wireless. Also windows 8 without a touchscreen.

Overall Review: Overall it is a decent computer with some improvements needed. If you need a computer for around $400 I think this is your best bet but if I had more money I would get something a little more solid with better battery, better touchpad and better WLAN card.

Very Impressed

ASUS VH232H Glossy Black 23" 5ms Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 w/Speakers & HDMI
ASUS VH232H Glossy Black 23" 5ms Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 w/Speakers & HDMI

Pros: It's big and is very colorful. There is so much space for multi-tasking it's insane going to this right before having a tube monitor. It is also rather cheap price wise.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Best bang for the buck.

Very Impressed

Intel Core i7-3770K - Core i7 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I73770K

Pros: The processor is very fast and good for multitasking. I have yet to OC it but with the ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler it idles at around 29 C and the highest I've got it was 45 C when rendering in After Effects.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: If you want to overclock this thing, get a good cooler. They run hot.

Good Case with Some Problems

Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK
Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK

Pros: First off, it is a great case with 5 fans, a lot of USB Ports and many other features. The blue LEDs look really cool at night. It is very modular with removable drive bays and the jazz.

Cons: The wires from the fans are not very forgiving, making cable management hard. The cables are just long enough to connect together and whats left is a bunch of taught cables hanging in the middle of the base. Also, the headphone jack broke on the case within 10 seconds of use and a hook from one of the doors broke off. They are not big deals but are inconveniences. Nothing worth sending it back for.

Overall Review: Good case for the money. I bought on sale so it was worth my money.

Pros: Has all the features I was looking for and support for more than I need in case I want to upgrade any components. It also has a power button which is an added bonus. The BIOS is very easy to navigate.

Cons: None so far
