Drives are not intended for individual sale, no manufacturer warranty

WD Red Plus 4TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX
WD Red Plus 4TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX

Pros: Works will in Synology NAS, I have used this exact model for many years.

Cons: Western Digital does NOT provide any warranty for this drive as it is not intended for individual sale. This is the email response I got from WD when registering the drive:Thank you for providing us a copy of your Proof of Purchase. The serial number you provided below is an OEM hard drive meaning that it was intended for integration into a fully assembled system (e.g., a computer) by a system manufacturer and not for individual sale.According to Western Digitals limited warranty policy, no limited warranty is provided by Western Digital for products that were purchased as a component integrated within a system by a system manufacturer.

Overall Review: I like the drive itself, but would not recommend buying new hard drives without a warranty from the manufacturer.

Strange setup procedure

NVIDIA Gift - The Division
NVIDIA Gift - The Division

Pros: Free game with other purchase

Cons: I could not activate on Uplay, I kept getting an error with some error when linking accounts - I gave up and thought "ohh well ...." Then I read about another person saying it works with Chrome, and sure enough I downloaded Chrome and it worked first time. Thumbs up to Google, Thumbs down to UbiSoft - therefore 3 eggs.

Overall Review: I wish all game producers could figure out to use one client that just plain works - like Steam.

Great when it worked

ASUS RT-AC87R Wireless-AC2400 Dual-band Gigabit Router
ASUS RT-AC87R Wireless-AC2400 Dual-band Gigabit Router

Pros: Long range Bandwidth monitor Device Prioritizing

Cons: It dropped the internet connection periodically but nothing I couldn't live with, and blamed it on the ISP. Today after 4 months of ownership the internet (WAN) connection is completely lost (red LED on all the time) where my old G-band router works just fine. It also dropped connection to the LAN ports. It is not completely dead as I can still access the UI via Wifi.

Overall Review: Tried an upgrade of newer Firmware and a back-to-default resetting, but nothing helps - I can only access the UI via WiFi and no internet connection.
