Wow

Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 60GB SATA III Asynchronous MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR60GB
Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 60GB SATA III Asynchronous MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR60GB

Pros: When you first install it, you're utterly amazed. It's odd though just how quick you get used to having it in... Went back and used my other laptop with a standard disc drive a few weeks later and I was amazed doubley so by how much it made a difference in comparison

Cons: It's light? Very light... distractingly light. Like it was just a cheap plastic shell with nothing inside. Not having time when the computer loads to make a sammich... that too.

Overall Review: Looking at the other reviews you may be going "What? Win 7 take sup 40GB!? This is too small then!" there is a SUPER easy solution. First disable hibernation and do a google search on how to remove the hibernation system file (frees up between 4-16GB depending on how much RAM you have) Next, disable the page file the drive (preferably enabling one on another drive if you have multiple drives in your system, but it's not a must if you don't) this will free up an additional 8-16GB (again, depending on your system and RAM) Finally, change all of your system's default temporary folders to a secondary drive if you have one. Amount saved there varies, but it beats flushing those temp drives every couple days AND saves some wear and tear on your drive. Doing the above, I brought my Win7 install down to 15GB, leaving about 40GB of usable space for games/important apps. Since I only play 1-2 games at a time I just swap them out from the main drive.

I wanted to love this case...

Sentey Optimus Extreme Division Tower Case - RED 3 x LED FAN / 1 120mm Rear FAN /2 x USB / Card Rdr / Fan Control /4 x Removable Bays / Screwless
Sentey Optimus Extreme Division Tower Case - RED 3 x LED FAN / 1 120mm Rear FAN /2 x USB / Card Rdr / Fan Control /4 x Removable Bays / Screwless

Pros: Lots of case fans, opening for externally installed open water cooling systems (it's VERY important to note OPEN system versus CLOSED system) completely tooless.

Cons: PCIE/PCI protectors are a pain in the neck to remove and the clips used to secure cards is very cheap feeling. Go with your instincts and bolt down your components with screws regardless of the option to do without. The inside of the case leaves VERY little room for internal and closed water cooling. The top fan was in the way (luckily, there is a spot further in for a second fan, I just moved that one there) and the back fan mount was too small for my Antec Kuhler closed water system. If I had an open system, I'd easily been able to mount my radiator outside of the case, but since my system is closed (and thus I can't disconnect the hoses to run through the case) I physically had to BEND part of the case to allow my water cooler to fit... but eventually fit it did... I just can't fully close the side of my case now. Couldn't put the radiator at the top of the case either because the top vents are too close to the motherboard... this is why I like top mounted power supplies which means the motherboard is placed lower and there is more room on top. The Hard drive cases are mounted sideways, but the case isn't really wide enough for this. My hard drive wires are now bent at an odd angle, again required to get my case closed. All in all, I spent over 3 hours trying to get this case to work with what I had. I built a similar system for my parents using another case and it took all of 30 minutes...

Overall Review: I wouldn't recommend this case if you're in the business of building computers. It's a pain in the neck to work with. If you're building the system for yourself and you have the free time to work around the kinks, the case is very functional and feature rich once everything is setup. Also new egg's word filter is tasteful, which makes it hard to show my real frustrations, but I'll forgive them for it ;)

Great portable VR machine.

GIGABYTE AORUS 15G XC - 15.6" FHD IPS Anti-Glare 240Hz - Intel Core i7-10870H - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR6 - 32GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Win10 Home - Gaming Laptop (AORUS 15G XC-8US2430SH)

Pros: My wife and I wanted to upgrade our gaming desktop PC, but we haven't been able to get ahold of any graphics cards. The rx580, however just can't keep up for VR like we wanted. This machine handles VR like a champ as long as it's plugged in to the wall.

Cons: The power brick cable is a little loose, and it's easy to accidentally pull it out enough for it to stop charging. Don't expect to do any VR with it unplugged from the wall, but I wasn't really expecting to anyways.

Overall Review: Despite other reviewers beating 10,000 in time spy, I was never able to break 9700 even with forcing the dgpu and turning on the fans to the max. Maybe I could with an overclock, but I just don't see much point in overclocking a laptop gpu. This puts it roughly on par with a desktop 2070 super, which is still pretty awesome given the power and heat constraints.

louder than I thought.

CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CW-9060007-WW) High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CW-9060007-WW) High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm

Pros: works as well as my older antec cooler at about half the price even though the radiator is about half as thick.

Cons: no real time monitoring of the liquid temperature, but not unexpected from a cheaper entrant.

Overall Review: My previous antec cooler somehow didn't survive our move to our new house, I got 3 good years out of it... this was a stop gap till I could get another high end one, but it works well enough I may just wait it out till the next time I change mobo and processor.

exactly what it says it is.

Global Bargains Black Fan Retainer Bracket Module for AMD AM2 Socket PC Computer

Pros: perfect replacement for a lousy or broken am3 bracket

Cons: none

Overall Review: free shipping and only a couple dollars make this a great choice if something happens

Part 2

CAD AUDIO U1 Black USB Connector Recording Microphone
CAD AUDIO U1 Black USB Connector Recording Microphone

Pros: I've had this mic for over 6 months now (see my earlier review) and it still works great. Despite my earlier warning about incompatibilities, it does fully work on windows 8 (and 8.1) without issue. I had some sort of other weird issue going on with the drivers there.

Cons: Needs to come with a screen. The stand is great and sound quality is good, but you'll get a lot of interference with your "p"s. You can buy screens seperately, or you can talk into the mic sideways or even make your own out of an old pair of panty hose and some wiring.

Overall Review: Use this for LPs, still works great to this day.
