Perfect Plex Case
Pros: -Very Small Case -Excellent amount of drives for a NAS or Media Center -120 Fan Exhaust -Sturdy build
Cons: -120 Fan is a little loud - Drives do not swap out very fast
Overall Review: I purchased this case to upgrade my Plex Server. And it worked out perfectly. My previous case was a Lian Li TU200B. This was an awesome case but the ports were outdated. I wanted a new case that was similar or even smaller. And I found this Jonsbo case. I had the Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition, but it was half an inch too tall for the case. I think I would have found a way to make it fit but I didn't want to break my new case so I ordered Noctua NH-L9i-17xx chromax.black, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler for Intel LGA1700 (Black). JonesBo does offer similar coolers that might fix this case. however, I am a Noctua fan so I went that route. I also hope I can replace the 120mm fan pre-installed in this case with a Noctua fan. The one currently installed is a bit too loud for me. It's a slim fan that might be proprietary. So I will try to find a solution to that later. The hot-swappable drive slots are not very fast compared to my old Lian Li case. It's sturdy and secure but it takes a little strength to pull the drives out. Not like I am going to be swapping my drives out much but if I do I prefer t to be quick. It took a bit of force to put the drives in also. I was scared I would damage the SATA ports doing so. Luckily I didn't break anything. My old Lian Li case wins when it comes to drive-swapping bays. Overall this case is perfect my little gripes are not a big deal at all. I recommend this case for any build that requires minimal space. This could also be an awesome gaming computer if you were connecting an eGPU. It only takes a Low Profile card. My previous card was a Quadro P2000. That card was perfect for any plex build, but Intel new iGPU (UHD770) built on the 13th series processors surpassed my Nvidia Quadro card. I didn't do a comparison for handbrake conversion speed but the Intel IGPU for Plex was much better than the P2000. Lower power draw, better-streaming quality, and intel iGPU support new codecs. (VC1). I don't think Plex supports that yet but in the future, they might. or some other Media center app (JellyFin,Emby) So that's it so far. I might add to this later as time goes by using this case. Oh, I forgot. The airflow is great so far. During heavy loads, the processor would be at 70/80 degrees. Sometimes in the 60s. During idle, the processor would stay in the 30s. But I do live in the North so it's currently cold here. When it starts to warm up the numbers will change. Ok, that's it. Buy this case. have fun with it. My build is listed below. ASRock Z790M-ITX WIFI Intel LGA1700 Mini-ITX Mainboard Intel Core I9 13900 (Non K) CORSAIR Vengeance 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 5200 IO CREST 2 Port SATA III PCI-e 3.0 x1 Non-RAID Controller Card Jmicro Chipset SI-PEX40148 Cooler Master V850 White Edition 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold SFX Fully Modular Power Supply 2x 20TB WD Gold 2x 20TB WD Red Pro 1x 10TB WD Black 1x 8TB Samsung QVO SSD
Epics Little beast of a Motherboard
Pros: Everything so far.....I have absolutely no complaints on the build. The Heatsink for the NVE drive is great. I love it
Cons: None thus far
Overall Review: I purchased this board for a planned gaming build. I have it running a Ryzen 3600, Asus R9 Nano (White), 32GB Corsair Dominators, 1x corsair MP600 on the top, and a Samsung pro on the bottom M.2 Port. So far everything works flawlessly. I had an issue with Cruical ballistic memory overclocking on this board so thats why i switched to Dominators. x570 board love fast ram. I guess the 2400mhz crucial sticks wasn't enough speed. With the Nano I only game in 1440p and the system works great.
Win7 Install Issue
Pros: Great Board, Has many SATA ports
Cons: I cant get Windows 7 to install on this motherboard at all. Every time I try to install it gives me same error. Corupted source, try a different source. I tried 5 different Win7 disk and all of them same error. Window 8 installs fine but I don't like Windows 8. It sucks. I want windows 7 to work on this board and I cant find anything on Asus website to help. Its my only issue with this board.
Best Memory Hands Down
Pros: I have never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever had any issues with Corsair memory. There memory is by far the best memory you can get for us system builders.
Cons: Child Please!
Great Fam
Pros: The fan worked right out of the box. Silent, pushes a nice amount of air. Before the fan my mother temp was 36 to 38cc. Added the fan and it went down to 34 to 33 cc constant. Not a lot but good enough. Fits Perfectly on my Sabertooth p67 assistant fan location.
Cons: None really! I don't expect it to last very long. I mean what fan does????????? My pc runs constantly so I give it about a year maybe little less.
Overall Review: Perfect for a Asus Sabertooth for Fan assistant.
Nice case
Pros: Great case! Has everything I wanted for an ITX build.
Cons: I wish it was smaller that's about it. But only by a few inches
