Good memory
Pros: Works well in my Asus X99-A motherboard. Plenty of memory.
Cons: It's still a little expensive.
Overall Review: I bought 64GB of RAM so that I could use 32GB for a ram disk, not a ssd but a true ram disk. I'm using it to run a super fast Oracle server. A ram disk is 300% faster than a 7200rpm hard drive which reduces time spent on IO. I recommend this RAM for anyone building an X99 system.
Barely Useable
Pros: Small and inexpensive
Cons: Started getting read errors almost immediately while trying to load XP onto a laptop.
Overall Review: The drive was cheap enough that I'm not too upset about the read errors. I had to keep ejecting the installation CD and reinserting it but I was finally able to get a good install. I would recommend buying some other drive if you need a reliable external CD drive.
It works!!!
Pros: Lots of memory!!! On the Intel website it states that maximum memory the 5960X will recognize is 64GB. I've got 128GB running on Windows 10. :-)
Cons: None, but I had to clear the BIOS to get the memory to work.
Overall Review: ASUS X99 Deluxe BIOS 2101 Intel i7-5960X Processor ASUS DVD burner (2) OCZ ssd I recommend this memory for ASUS X99 users.
Tivo Replacement
Pros: Western Digital!!! I have always used WD drives. They last good and when they do break down WD honors their warranty. I bought this drive to replace the stock drive in my Tivo Ramio. It gave me plenty of storage and has never given me any problems after six months.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I wish I had some tacos right now. I'm going to finish this review then go get me some tacos.
Good Switch
Pros: In expensive, fast, reliable.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I used this switch at work for over a year. Never had any problems with it. Never had to reboot it. I was spending 9+ hours transferring laser data(125+ GB) of data over a 10/100 switch. After replacing the old switch with this switch my transfer times came down to less than 3 hours. I would recommend this switch to anyone looking to upgrade.
Great Operating System
Pros: Microsoft product. 64-bit. Easy to use. Good interface.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I didn't start using Windows 7 until well after Windows 8.1 came out. I've used it on 2 workstations and 2 VM. It's a good easy to use and reliable operating system.
