Good RAM

Pros: The voltage is exactly 1.84 volts according to an Intel auto detect. The Intel D975xbx2 Motherboard out of the box fired right up without issues.
Cons: No cons on the RAM. The Intel D975xbx2 MB I had some words for.
Overall Review: Voltage is a big deal. They should post the voltage of the RAM.
Consider XP 64-bit

Pros: It runs very well, extremely fast, has many features, and makes it very easy to move around. It supports hooking up a monitor and TV simultaneously. Very pretty. Don't consider 64-bit unless you want to run more than 4 gigabytes of RAM.
Cons: You may want to consider Windows XP 64-bit. Vista is loaded with Digital Rights Management. It actually checked my video card driver and said I was not allowed to play a DVD because I was not licensed to do so. Uninstalling the (Nvidia) driver, loading the Microsoft (Nvidia) driver fixed the problem.
Overall Review: If it were not for the DRM (cons) this system would be ideal for anyone wanting more than 4 gigabytes of RAM in their system. BTW, Vista is fantastic at using unused RAM as disk cache, so it really runs programs well with 4+ gigabytes of RAM.
I'd buy this again. Light weight, very functional, and mostly metal.

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by this case. It's inexpensive while having all the features I wanted. I really like having 2.5" mounts for SSDs. It has plastic trays with screw mounts. The drives face toward the cover, so they're easy to remove. Has lots of mounts for fans. Smaller metal mesh on the full front and top. Runs very cool, but has many spots for additional fans.
Cons: This case is great, but there are a few improvement areas. The blue power LED is very bright, but fortunately is mounted on the top of the case, not in the front. I'd also make a little more room to fish cables through the frame, but we managed to get them through without damaging anything.
Overall Review: I'm really surprised at how light this case is. Fully loaded, I bet it's not more than ten pounds. Not sure why the power supply is mounted at the base, but I'd imagine that it says cooler without the CPU and Video card heat hitting it. It's also a nice color white. The screws are all black as well as the internal frame, which makes it tough to see, but after it's mounted, nice to look at.
Easy to Upgrade Components

Pros: I called support after seeing the "do not remove" warranty sticker. They said go ahead and remove it without voiding the warranty. I purchased an M.2 drive and 16 gigabytes of RAM for it. It holds two drives at once. Take care when opening the case as the little red clips around the outside break off easily. It doesn't matter because it has so many screws it holds well. This notebook is extremely easy to work on, unlike an older IBM Thinkpad or Dell. I added the M.2 hard drive and upgraded to Windows 10 without too much difficulty. I did a clean install on Windows 10 on the new drive. Very nice machine. Speakers are very nice and loud. View is nice, but I set the text to 12 point so I could see it. It's a keeper.
Cons: Fans a little loud. This model has one fan instead of two, but it's nice it blows out the back instead of the side. It gets hot, but it's cooler than my Sony which is a generation older.
Overall Review: Max out the RAM, especially get the M.2 drive for it internally. It has DDR3, SATA, M.2, the CD could be replaced easily for a blue ray. Only concern is how much that fan runs like crazy. I'll be replacing that fan sooner than later I'm sure.
Great Monitor - Do not count on a rebate

Pros: Great Monitor
Cons: The rebate company 4myrebate.com is a fraud. Don't expect a rebate. I read about 4myrebate.com's fraud rebates before I submitted it, ensuring I had every detail correct just to see. I made copies of everything. They denied it because the "invoice is missing", but that's not what the copies show. They lie. Watch out.
Overall Review: Don't blame ASUS. It's a great product. Just don't expect a rebate.
Excellent notebook

Pros: I added 16 gigabytes of RAM N82E16820233217 Everything about this notebook is great. No complains. I'm about to order two more. I'd recommend a Momentus XT hard drive with it as well (hybrid SSD)
Cons: Nothing really.
Overall Review: There's an i7 version as well. I'm not sure if it's worth the extra ~$150 because I'd expect the heat would slow it down to the same speed this one runs.
