Good budget ram
Pros: Popped it in, set the timings manually and haven't had a problem with it yet. Mem-tested it for a day and didn't have a single error. Good ram for people not overly concerned with overclocking.
Cons: The packaging is really minimal but newegg wrapped it in plenty of bubble wrap to protect it.
Overall Review: Don't drink milk when watching funny tv shows....
Good budget Ram
Pros: Works at speeds listed on website. I used memtest on it for 12+ hours and I didn't get a single error.
Cons: The timings could be better but you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: I used these sticks for awhile then upgraded to 6 gb 1600Mhz. nice difference. These did the job though!
Great Board for not too much
Pros: Great board! Booted on first try. I did run into issues with using the LAN driver from gigabytes website (which is slow as heck btw) but all problems were remedied by using the drivers on the cd. Easy tune that comes with MB can overclock your pc to 3 Ghz with no problems with just a few clicks. It also will allow you to fine tune your system as well if needs be. As another reviewer stated, make sure to use slots 1, 2 and 4 when running your memory in triple channel mode. Just use the three slots that are the same color. It really is a great board and I imagine that the Lan driver issue will be remedied shortly.
Cons: The SLI version came to newegg the DAY AFTER I got mine LOL. Kind of funny actually. I used a GTX260 though and my monitor isn't bigger than my tv (LOL) so I won't be needing SLI anyways.
Overall Review: If you need SLI obviously pay the extra fifteen dollars and get the SLI version.
wow
Pros: Wow, this processor just plain FLIES. I installed this in a G33 board (nothing special) and with no effort it got a 17 second 1M superpi result... pretty impressive. Runs apps without breaking a sweat.
Cons: Isn't a quad core.
Great Budget Motherboard
Pros: This motherboard can't be beat for the price. I installed a E2160 into it and haven't had one hiccup at all. The box stated that it could actually run the fsb at 1333 through overclocking but I didnt notice if there was chipset support for 45nm processors though. I would definately consider using it in the future for budget builds.
Cons: none
Quick Processor
Pros: This processor is great for any entry level pc. I used it with a 945 based motherboard from gigabyte and had no problems at all. Easily installed multiple programs at once. Runs really cool too.
Cons: None
Overall Review: For under 80 bucks you can't beat the performance you get!
