Without a doubt the nicest PSU I have ever used
Pros: variable modes of operation, flat cabling, more than adequate amount of cables, quiet
Cons: maybe price, but I am not willing to take off for that, 7 year warranty!.
Overall Review: If you run a 3 card SLI, you'll need another set of cables. 2 PCI-e integral to the wiring bundle of the unit, 2 more PCI-e 6+2 cables in the accessory bag. Not really a con....I don't kow many who run THREE vid cards!
not thrilled
Pros: quiet card
Cons: doesn't seem to work...possibly DOA
Overall Review: replaced my EVGA 560 with this unit. The 560 was working, but getting old, and I wanted to ramp up my graphics a bit. I replaced the card with the 980ti, and the problems ensued. First, I noticed little blue dots here and there on the Windows7 logo screen, then startup proceeds to a black screen with blue dots and stripes....a LONG wait, and then, the Blue Screen of Death. So, I reset the CMOS, updated the BIOS on the MB to the newest (I have the Asus Maximus Hero VII), still no luck, same issues. Replaced the old card, and bingo, it still works in the same slot, with the same cables. Trying to get a hold of EVGA, but due to work constraints, I don't have hours to sit on hold. Asus Maximus Hero VII i7-4790k proc 32gb ddr3, 1600 Scandisk ExtremePro SSD NH-D15 cooler 1200W PSU One other thing....LONG card....make sure you have the room!
Pros: easy install, came on time, works fine, unobtrusive
Cons: somewhat slow
