great price
Pros: The motherboard is a very good deal... Very hard to find one under $100 with these features: SATA 6Gb/s (very hard to get this in a sub-$100 motherboard) Esata on back (required feature for me) Onboard video (Radeon 4250 is not for gaming for decent for HTPC since it supports UVD 2 acceleration for Blu-ray) (required feature) 4 DIMM slots (16 Gb max), supports 1600Mhz DDR3 memory (required feature) Micro-ATX size AM3 socket for X6 CPU's. (required feature) Very large number (12) of USB ports (6 on back + 6 on motherboard headers) but these are not USB 3.0. gigabit LAN (required feature) 16 GByte RAM required a beta BIOS from Foxconn. I had to submit a problem ticket for that. 4/8/12Gb works fine but not 16Gb without the beta BIOS.
Cons: No cons
Only 3 screws fit
Comments: The fan comes with 4 screws, but only 3 will fit. The last is blocked by the black shroud in the CM Stacker's case.
great
Pros: great cpu for a great price. Intel 6-core cost 3x the price and only got 7% better performance according to IntelBurnTest.
Cons: No cons.
More problem
Pros: Pros
Cons: Adding one more con: the audio header is mis-wired and the front headphone/mic jacks can't be used. Taking another egg off for that. -2 eggs for bad 80mm fan (cost me $5.99 which is 20% of the cost of the case) -1 egg for bad audio jacks on front
Cheap case works fine
Pros: Low cost. power supply included
Cons: 80mm case fan was DOA.
Overall Review: Not much else to say. It is budget case and it is budget quality.
DOA twice
Pros: No pros, not functional. replacement was bad too.
Cons: First time, failed memtest86+ with 443 errors in 22 hours. RMA back to newegg. Replacement arrived within 1 week. Newegg rocks. Problem is replacement also memtest with 2 errors in 25 hours.
Overall Review: Ran with BIOS at default values except RAM timings adjusted to match G.Skill spec 2-3-2-5 2.6V. Relaxing the timings to 3-3-3-8 and upping the voltage to 2.7V (within G.Skill spec) did not help. Definitely defective.
