Issac got details wrong. PS4 is 1080p X1 is 920p

PlayStation 4 Console
PlayStation 4 Console

Pros: Where Xbox 1 has many titles playing as upscaled 920p, PS4 plays those titles in native 1080p. Next next gen consoles are already on the way now, but other than VR, I see non compelling reason to upgrade past the regular PS4 at this time.

Cons: None really, other than a larger controller battery would be nice.

Overall Review: There are a few titles on X1 that would be nice to see on PS4, because they could have somewhat better visual details... But then that's what a desktop PC is for...

captures with very noticeable artifacts

USB Video Capture USB C Video Capture Card with HDMI Loop Out, HD to Type-C/USB C/USB 3.0 Broadcast Live Stream and Record, Full HD 1080P@60HZ Live Streaming Video Game Grabber Converter- Black

Pros: Powers on, passes video through, captures artefacted video without dropping frames.

Cons: Despite capturing 1080p 60FPS without dropping frames, the frames it does capture have ringing around text and fine details that is annoyingly obvious. I have a similar device with no passthrough that does a nearly perfect job. It captures with the same software and settings better than this one.

Overall Review: Not good if you want quality worth sharing. There are better options.

First one DOA, Second is alive but out of date

Acer Nitro 5 17.3" Gaming Laptop Intel i5-9300H 2.40GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Win10H
Acer Nitro 5 17.3" Gaming Laptop Intel i5-9300H 2.40GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Win10H

Pros: This one powers up. Screen bleed isn't too bad. Sound is strong and clear. Keyboard feels good. (Touchpad sucks) Is mostly very responsive.

Cons: Touchpad is so sensitive that trying to click links or buttons makes the pointer jump and click the wrong spot or just jump without registering a click. Very bad. Windows updates were way behind, directx is messed up so bad I can't even start Fallout: New Vegas. Turns out even after fully updating Windows and DirectX the launcher works, the settings window works, but the game won't actually start without an 0xc000007 error. I am downloading another GOG game that should work in Windows 10 to see if it's all games that won't work. If it is then the laptop gets returned. I thought I was buying a decent entry level gaming laptop, which is how it is marketed.... But if it won't play games then I will need to return it and buy one that actually works from someone else. This is the second one shipped, after the first one wouldn't even power on after all the battery resets and 24 hour charge, and everything that should have worked. I will bever buy another Acer, besides monitors which seem decent over all the years I have bought a few, if this is how their portable computers are. I gave away an Acer netbook for various quality issues 3 years ago. Thought I would try a gaming laptop to give them another chance. So far I get the impression that that was a mistake. I don't care how good the keyboard, screen, and sound are... If it won't launch simple midrange games without erroring out, I will be replacing it.

Overall Review: Unhappy - will edit review if other installs work.

Not bad for the price

GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2HP (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel H110 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2HP (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel H110 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: It has a lot of good features

Cons: More bad than good: At random times the screen goes black until I unplug a reasonably new 3TB Seagate Expansion+ USB 3 drive. (any USB 3 port I use it in) The Gigabyte software package is intrusive on resources, more than it should be with a default install. As people have said, the rear port plate is poorly made from the thinnest metal they could shape without it breaking. Will not boot from a properly setup USB flash drive: tried a Windows install and several known working Live Linux distros that all work fine on other computers. I did try every conceivable option in the BIOS. Sad for a modern board.

Overall Review: Other than all the little negatives, the board works quite well once there is an installed operating system, with the understanding that if you leave some USB 3 drives plugged in long enough to read or write for 20 minutes or so the built in video may go all black (but monitor still gets a signal to stay on) until you unplug the USB 3 drive. I have 2 other computers that I regularly use the same drives with without any issues... I did see one of the provided drivers was listed as Alpha/Beta level without warranty.. What the fuddge? Gigabyte sucks for selling a new motherboard with unproven drivers. I allowed Windows Update to finish all updates, and no fix came from that. I definitely like how Skylake runs Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Forget playing games like Painkiller Black Edition: the GPU is fast enough, but has rendering glitches of just the enemies... Too bad. Also, as old as World in Conflict is, it takes Medium settings at 720p to keep the dips from falling below 25FPS in their benchmark, mostly when there are smoke plumes or an explosion is occurring. I am disappointed in Intel.... The Gigabyte will be fine with a discrete graphics card.

One of 2 modules DoA.

Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Desktop Memory Model CT2K4G4DFS8213
Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Desktop Memory Model CT2K4G4DFS8213

Pros: My new Skylake system is able to run on a single module, but that is not why I bought a dual channel kit... Speed as advertised.

Cons: DoA It worked in dual channel mode with both modules just long enough to make it into the BIOS screens before the video started showing signs of corruption. Tried swapping positions, and when that didn't improve the situation I tried one at a time in each socket and found one module good no matter which socket, and the other didn't work in any socket.

Overall Review: I dislike BGA chips for this very reason: essentially, the factory takes a chip, heats up all of the little solder blobs and quickly places it on the board being assembled. The problem is that not all of the blobs make permanent connection. I believe that is what happened here. I miss the days of pins and through hole soldering that very rarely fails.

Sad they didn't ship after 2 weeks

I would not buy thier products directly from Orico on NewEgg... Use a 3rd party if you want good service. Their products are alright, but they kept blaming the postal service each week when they hadn't even sent the items out from their warehouse. Finally demanded my money back after driving to a large town and buying a competing product. I won't be dealing with them direct ever again, and not anytime soon.
