RitekG05
Pros: I've burned 9 of them so far. There was 1 coaster, but that was likely from my PC.
Cons: The disc ID's say they're Ritek G05's.
Overall Review: The 8 discs that passed verification all work perfectly. I didn't lower the rating because I believe my PC is to blame for the 1 failure. By the way, pay attention when you open them. They're sandwiched between two plastic plates and wrapped in plastic. No spindle.
Avoid
Pros: If it fits, it works. Good job? Transferred 5GB of data at a reasonable rate. It went about as fast as my onboard usb2.0 ports. (give or take a few minutes)
Cons: It didn't fit in to my PCI slot. I had to PHYSICALLY scrape/file the card down by about a third of an inch to get into place. There was just to much excess board. Doesn't masscool have any QA's?
Overall Review: The shipping was a bit hectic, Newegg->DHL->Post office? I usually shoot for things that have free shipping if I can, I guess I have more reason to stick to that philosophy. I don't really blame newegg, I blame DHL.
It's pretty
Pros: The cables are all wrapped, so it did well aesthetically. It provided the necessary power without any hiccups to a very modest gaming PC.
Cons: Other than wishing it was modular, none that I can think of
Nice little case
Pros: I found it quite easy to work in. Cable management was pretty decent, lots of places to tie things off. A few hidden spots to park SSD's. Standard power supply fit comfortably and I could even fit a triple fan 280x in there (just to see if it fit). Comes with lots of screws and motherboard mounts.
Cons: A dent during shipping, I guess? Beyond that, it was a hassle free build. Perhaps that the exhaust fan was only 80mm.
Great Card
Pros: -Powerful -8GB of Vram -Stays Cool (Doesn't go above 65 at factory clock) -An Attractive Backplate -Gotta lot of faith in EVGA
Cons: -The LED is white. No big deal, but my build theme is Black and Red, so I turned them off. -Prices for all the 1070's are still too high.
Overall Review: I'd definitely recommend this card to others. Overclocking is easy. EVGA has always been solid for me. Just would have been nice to have the full RGB LED's.
Solid case
Pros: Great feature set you usually see in much more expensive cases. Case feels mostly solid. Airflow is really good. Customer support was amazing.
Cons: As others have said, cable management can be a bit tricky. Need to run the PSU cables through before installing the motherboard or it won't be very clean. Bottom feels less sturdy than the rest of the case.
Overall Review: I had a bit of a problem and I contacted customer support. They responded extremely quickly and were very helpful. They resolved the issue and the experience was painless. Major respect for that.
