customer service is willing to help
Pros: build quality is good, customer service is available after 2 rings, willing to help , knowledgable of the products, willing to mail parts or rma, polite,24/7 support
Cons: with customer support like this its hard to beat and othe companys pr dept can take a lesson from these guys, so i have no problem waiting for a replacement as i know the silverstone name is a solid one
Overall Review: home theatre/ nas serverof filesand yes i cramed even 2 hd ghz tahiti XT2 in it along with 6-WD rednas 2 TB on a p8p67 ws revolution with a big old E3-1280 just cuz i could and what an awsome htpc/server it is and silverstones remote even has all the functionality that freenas offers and is completely programable, if silverstone only made a htpc keyboard with macro that would be sweeeeeeet
no biggy
Pros: all thu pros are there on the box
Cons: the price
Overall Review: just like any other card there must be some bad ones, we got artifacts at stock speeds
awsome at 2560 x 1440
Pros: 2560 x 1440 perfect
Cons: none at this resolution
Overall Review: excellent at 2560 x 1440
what a problem
Pros: writeup looks great, i agree with my freind about it not standing up to the gigabyte name at all, sent it in for RMA and got it back after a 16 hr burn in only to have it shut down within 3 hrs. thats why i RMA the board in the first place
Cons: sent for rma after months of putting up with it only to get it back with the same problem and one of the controllers is baked, in the begining it had issues with volt droop and the fixed that but know the gave me back a bord that is all busted up all over the place and is in worse condition than i sent t to them in and this will have cost me over 100.00 for UPS to get it there and bring it back
Overall Review: no more from gigabyte if they dont make good on my purchase
if you dont know, dont say you do
Pros: it almost lost a egg for the lack of intel ethernet but i bought this board cuz of the usb 3, and the x16 times 2 and thats it
Cons: the only con i can see here is the price and a work station board with 8 phases is a joke and is pathetic. what are you doing Asrock if you guys ever get it right it will amaze me. it seems you get most of it figured out and then do somthing STUPID like 8 phases, managment should be slapped
Overall Review: if you want a ws ( work station ) you should go with intel ethernet first of all. the person complaning in the reviews about usb 3 should know that the order of download is very important. but hey it says hes a champ
medioker
Pros: great single thread performance, unlocked, able to run at higher temps,etc.etc.etc
Cons: spike temps are thru the roof, prone to seperating , has latch over issues due to finns i think. X86 is on its way to the heap, IBM will rule in the near future, do your reading
Overall Review: finished sandybridgeor intel hit the wall and what do you have, its a mobile cpu to start with that most people use for gaming, surfing, etc. any cpu out there that makes people money comes from AMD, fx 8350 is middle of the road but steamroller will be interesting this year along with the chipset. and it is proven that AMD has the battle of bandwidth already won
