Pros: - Video card handles just about everything I can throw at it on High settings - Looks professional and not like a RGB kids toy - Upgradeable memory - Upgradeable NVME
Cons: - For the price the screen should of been better quality. >250 nits and better color. - Battery life just browsing the internet etc is around 4 hours with IGPU turned on. - Battery drains while plugged in and gaming. - Laptop dies after 6-7 hrs of gaming plugged in. Draws more power than 200watt power cord supply's. Currently sending back to Asus for repair if its even possible. Had multiple chats and in one the chat rep said this is normal. I wanted to reach through the chat and strangle them.
Overall Review: - 3/5 stars. Extremely fast and great for gaming. Only drawback is the 200watt power supply is not enough to power the laptop while gaming and the battery has to provide the extra juice to keep it on. This wears on the battery and makes you stop gaming to recharge it after 6-7 hours. I tried to get them to send a higher rated charger but they refused and made me RMA for service.
DO NOT BUY
Pros: Worked for a week
Cons: Died after a week.
Overall Review: Bought over a month ago. Had to wait for the 1155 motherboards to come out so it was out of newegg warrenty before i even installed it. Crashed 1 week after installation. No OS found, No hard drive found. RMA to WesternDigital. THIS harddrive is notorious for this problem. Not sure if I will even use the new one. Have a feeling it will fail in a few weeks to a month also.
