Quiet LGA2011 cooler

Pros: This cooler includes both square and narrow brackets for LGA2011 (square comes pre-attached; narrow is separate in the packaging, but easy to swap to). It also comes with thermal paste pre-applied, with a plastic cover over it, so it's a very simple install: swap brackets if you need to for your motherboard, then screw the four screws into the bracket around the CPU socket until they stop. The 4-pin fan tail is about 10 inches long, which was way overkill for my board, but it wrapped exactly once around the fan so it would stay out of the way. The fan slides down into two clips at the bottom, and it's easy to remove if you have enough chassis airflow (read: one of those plastic airflow guides) that the fan is unnecessary. It's fairly quiet, but audible in standard office environment.
Cons: None observed.
Good, cheap laptop memory

Pros: Bought 16GB for my Lenovo W510, worked perfectly out of the box. Memtest passes fine. Windows experience rating went up, and I never have to hit swap any more.
Cons: None.
Works well, dual simultaneous band

Pros: Runs DD-WRT very well. 5 GHz band gives very good speeds: an average of ~75 megabits per second, under normal conditions. 2.4 is fast, too.
Cons: Stock firmware doesn't do "access point mode"; luckily, DD-WRT does. 30/30/30 reset is annoying. My brother's laptop can't connect to it, but it works fine for my laptop and the slim xbox 360. May be a configuration issue.
Overall Review: Despite a few hiccups, fast and stable once configured. Full marks.
Fine chip, no heatsink

Pros: Inexpensive, 8 threads, dual-socket capable.
Cons: Although these chips are great, they do not include the heatsink as earlier Xeons tended to. Make sure to buy a heatsink; it needs to be for the Xeon 5500/5600 series chips. Standard i7 1366 heatsinks don't cut it, either.
Cheap 4GB kit

Pros: Excellent kit. Bought 2 of these for use in my desktop and 1 in my server. All 6 sticks passed Memtest with flying colors even with ECC off. Also tried them in my ACARD 9010B ram drive, where they also worked fine.
Cons: Not DDR800.
