Pros: This drive performs as stated. My system can copy a 4GB ISO files from one NVMe drive to another in less than 5 seconds. Nice packaging (neat little metal box) insures the drive will not get damaged during shipping. Comes with a free download of Acronis software to clone your system drive if you need to. This drive is as fast as any Samsung NVMe drive (which I also own) without the Samsung tax. Bonus that this was on sale when I bought it. 5 year warranty which again is as good as Samsung. Sabrent is a USA company if that matters to you.
Cons: Not really a con because I don't know of any NVMe drive that comes with one but there is no mounting screw to mount it on the MB. My MB came with screws so no big deal for me but make sure you have one on hand.
Overall Review: Would recommend this drive to anyone looking for an NVMe drive. By far the best bang for the buck for an NVMe drive.
Pros: Price, quality, quite, standard easy AMD mount.
Cons: Doesn't cool any better then the stock cooler the came with my AMD PIIx4 940BE. Even with fan speed at max (2500rpm) my temps didn't change from what the stock cooler could do. With 30% load doing nothing but watching HD content on a second monitor and writing this temps are 58c/136f with a room temp of 23c/74f. Even with the side panel off the temps didn't change so air flow isn't an issue. I think part of the problem is the fact the base doesn't cover the CPU completely. That's part of the problem with generic one size fits all coolers. I have mounted this 4 or 5 times using AS-5 thinking that might be the problem. Regardless what I've tried nothing changes.
Overall Review: I really wanted to like this cooler and give it good a review. I don't know if I expected too much from this cooler or it just isn't up to the task I put it up too. But after reading all the reviews here and elsewhere gushing about how good this cooler is I'm pretty disappointed with it. Even with stock clock speeds or over clocked speed this cooler doesn't cool a bit better then the stock unit. I expected more out of a "high performance" cooler. This is a well build cooler that would make a good replacement for failed cooler or a cooler that is very poor to begin with. But if you need a cooler to help cool a hot OCed CPU you better spend more and look elsewhere like I'm going to have to do. Bottom line, good replacement for stock cooler but that is about it. fasthair
Pros: Works just fine in windows 10. I only use the external drive function of this dock so I can't comment on it's copy function from drive to drive. Works with 7,200RPM drives which my old dock would not do.
Overall Review: Copy speeds are what you would expect from HDD drives over USB 3.x. Not sure if it is Windows or this dock but it takes a couple of minutes from turning the dock on to when the drives show up ready to use in Windows Explorer. Over all does what I need it to do so 5 eggs.
Nice 4x Stand
Pros: Like every other review I'm very happy with this stand. Nice and sturdy, well built stand. Had this in my wish list and it came up on sale for 60 bucks so I jumped on it. It has a nice big foot print so I have no fears of it falling over. Would recommend this to anyone looking such a stand and at this price it's a bargain.
Black on Black
Pros: Not much I can say that hasn't already been said about this great looking case. Build quality, case finish, layout, cable management including cable tie stand offs, layout of drives bays, quite fans with subdued red LEDs with on/off switch are all top notch. Tooless drive mounts for DVD and HDD drives are simple and effective. All black mounting hardware with thumbs screws for the side panels and expansion cards is a real nice touch. I don't do LAN parties but the handle which I didn't think was that big of deal when I bought it is pretty handy for moving it around, so that was a nice surprise. Over all great case with lots of great features that really does look much better then the pictures here show.
Cons: Nit picking here but it does have a few small issues. Like all tooless expansion card designs these just don't hold the cards tight to the case. CM includes screws to mount them so it's a push on this con. The front panel USB connections are real tight. They do seem to be loosing up with use so maybe this improves. Last thing is the mother board area is tight. Everything fits including my dual XFX 260 video cards but is tight. CM states max card length is 10.6" and they aren't kidding. Took some wiggling to get these 10.5" cards in. So another inch of case length would be helpful. I've read this in other reviews but I still bought it because these are really very minor cons to me. Certainly nothing to dock an egg for. No such thing as a perfect case but this one is as close as I've seen for me.
Overall Review: Helped a friend build a Antec 900 this spring and while it is a very nice case too this one had a few things I wanted that it didn't have. First was the black interior to match my black PSU, drives ect.. External DVD drives, 5 vs. 3 since I have a 3x2 backplane and 2 DVD drives plus a card reader I would've lost a DVD drive. Add in the CM is 40$ cheaper for more points. Keyboard/mouse cable an side panel locks are nice. You will loose an expansion slot with the KB/mouse lock though. Both cases have about the same room in the mother board area and cooling properties, the 900 might be just a hair quieter fan wise but not by much. Noise is subjective anyway and the CM can in no way be considered loud. The sideways HDD mounting of the CM makes it easier to hide cables and mount HDDs plus the tooless mounting is simpler/better. Looks are subjective too but I think the CM Strom Scout wins hands down here.Blue LEDs are so year 2000 anyway. All said and done I couldn't be happier with this case
Pros: My first buy at a “quality” power supply and I couldn’t be more impressed. Just the weight alone tells you this is a top notch piece. Go to PC Power and Cooling web site and read about single verses multi power rails and modular cables. There is a reason this is single rail and not modular. During a recent electrical storm the lights in the house went out for a second but this PSU had enough in reserve to keep my PC running without so much as a hiccup. Impressive to say the least. Plenty of connectors and cable length to reach everything in my Mid-Tower ATX case.
Cons: Maybe cable length for some but not for me. Was able to tie and hide the unused cables with no problems. Would rather too many then too few connections.
Overall Review: Powers my over clocked AMD Phenom II x4 940 (3.5GHZ) Nvidia 9600GT OC with 4 monitors on the system (2 on card 1 using on board video plus TV on HDMI) 4x SATA HDD 2x DVD-RW 2x case fans Firewire external HDD. 4x2gig PC800 RAM @2vdc. All voltages are right on spec according to BIOS and PC Performance.
