The Best Ryzen Motherboard
Pros: -Overclocks like a champ with the Ryzen 7 1800x -M.2 Shield works great -On-board Debug, Power, and CMOS buttons make for easy overclocking -Blend of white and red LED's accent the board perfectly -Looks great with MSI's Core Frozr L CPU cooler
Cons: -None at this time
Overall Review: -The board is more of a silver color than it is white, but it looks amazing with white led's accenting it.
Great audio quality; build quality less so.
Pros: Great audio quality, especially with an ASUS Xonar card. Everything is crisp in the highs and well rounded and defined in the lows.
Cons: There is a rattling noise in the right speaker, maybe a loose screw? Slightly more disheartening is that the mic doesn't work. I've tried every trick in the book.
Great Card
Pros: This card is great. Because of its lovely Tahiti LE architecture, it performs just below the 7950. But the best part is its overclocking potential. I currently have the core clock to 1200 MHz and memory at 1590 with some headroom to spare.
Cons: Can run hot on stock cooler. Got up to around the 80's before I swapped out the cooler.
Overall Review: Great performance for the price. I bought it back when it was $234, so now the price/performance at $169 is extremely good.
Great Motherboard
Pros: Solid mobo. Everything posted right away. Currently have my cpu oc'd to 4.3 GHz. Nice and easy to use bios. 2 months in and no problems.
Cons: The power does turn back on after you've shut down your computer. Not really a problem though...
Overall Review: My system: FX 6350 @ 4.3 GHz (w/ hyper 212 evo) Powercolor 7870 MYST Ed. (7870 XT) 8gb Team Vulcan 1600 750W EVGA psu Seagate Constellation 1TB
Good Graphics Card Cooler
Pros: Good cooling. The two 80mm fans work wonders on my card compared to the single 92 on it before. It's also quite quiet. The clamps were a good idea.
Cons: I did however have a few problems with this card. First off, the color isn't really a red but more of a pink color. I also ran into a problem with the clamps that hold it to the heatsink. I'm using a Powercolor 7870 MYST edition, the Tahiti LE one. It has an indented heatsink to accommodate the 92mm fan. This was unfortunate as the indentation was just as wide as the distance between the center of the two clamps. This caused issues with keeping it attached. After the small sticky pads on the clamp came off, I just decided to zip-tie it to the copper rods.
Overall Review: The fan's power connector is only a 3 pin connector, making it incompatible with most graphics cards' PCB's. I just connected it to a system fan header and changed the fan rpm per system temp stepping in the bios.
Simply Amazing
Pros: This CPU is amazing. It benches higher than a 3570k at about $90 less. It runs relatively cool and doesn't get bogged down with various tasks at hand. Those six cores help with multitasking as well. I can't say enough good things about this processor.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that it's a 125 watt CPU. But with it's capabilities, it's a very marginal sacrifice.
Overall Review: I love this CPU
