great HTPC card
Pros: Perfect entry level HTPC card. HD video and HDMI works great. Cheap. Silent. Has more features than cards at similar price point. Audio over HDMI.
Cons: My case fan is poor so I had to get a small fan to get the air moving over the heatsink.
Overall Review: The overclocking utility that comes with ATI's drivers is pointless for a low-end fanless card like this.
Slower than wireless G
Pros: Low profile bracket
Cons: It was much slower than the wireless G card it replaced, was getting .6 mbps from speedtest.net, while the g card got 6 mbps. Totally unable to stream HD video, which is why I bought it. Even my Android phone got faster speeds from the router!
Overall Review: The motherboard quit recognizing (working) video card after installing this, removing the wireless card does not solve the problem. Constant troubles with the BIOS now as well.
Works well
Pros: Allows me to view my S3 on anything with an HDMI port. Is plug and play.
Cons: The included power adapter for the wall feels flimsy
Overall Review: I like to use different Android mods and found out that custom Roms will often break driver support for this device.
Does what it says it does
Pros: Worked immediately with my Mac. The ejection feels fairly solid compared to some other HD docks.
Cons: Needed driver installs to work on Windows
Overall Review: Don't forgot to let drives spin down before you eject them!
it's ram!
Pros: No problems. Doesn't interfere with my huge heatsink.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Haven't tried to overclock it yet, will probably attempt in the future
Great board, no problems
Pros: Haven't had any issues, all the features are great.
Cons: Virtu MVP doesn't make as big of a diffidence as I hoped it would and some games won't run with it at all.
Overall Review: Have it booting up as a hackintosh as well
Fast shipping
I was worried that non-Newegg shipping was slow, but it was faster than Egg Saver. MHL adapter for my S3 works
