Seagate Archive HDD v2 ST8000AS0002 8TB 5900 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Great added space, easy install, put in one remirror, put in second remirror, then expand boundary and you're set. Easy, just don't call tech support, do not let them screw it up. update 04/13/2017 running since 12/26/2015 24 x 7 am buying more.

Cons: missing middle screww

Overall Review: need to see how long they run, that will be the story.

WORST PROGRAM IN THE WORLD

Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013
Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013

Pros: I have not had it long enough to see if the updated information makes a difference from the old versions. That would be the only PRO

Cons: Does not read 2009, 2011 files for me, or Microsoft Tech Support who spent hours trying to get any of my 2009 maps into this 2013 version via remote control. I started with S&T 2001, and never had a problem opening old maps. I can not believe Microsoft would not have the program import earlier maps.

Overall Review: Imagine if new photo editing programs would not read earlier files and you could not see your old pictures. What person can not understand that many trips are taken, S&T maps are saved for reference in future trips.

what batteries

New Replaced Remote for ROKU 1 2 3 LT HD XD XS with MGO Netfilx amazon key
New Replaced Remote for ROKU 1 2 3 LT HD XD XS with MGO Netfilx amazon key

Pros: Well if it uses AA batteries I would buy it. The Two Roku sticks I have that AAA batteries are a pain and do not work well. With no mention of batteries I can not risk anything above one star

Cons: They do not list the batteries it uses. I only want AA as everything else I own uses mainly AA, which work perfectly in my Roku 2 and 3 perfectly. My Roku stick controllers with AAA batteries are very bad. No specifications; batteries, WiFi or IR ( IR sucks ) - with no specs I would never but this. When they put in specs I will try one.

Overall Review: Stick with WiFi controllers as they work no matter were the base is, behind the TV, in a draw.

came with my Roku 2 Refurb

Geniune Roku Enhanced Remote for Roku 2 (2720r, 2720rw) or Roku 3 (4200r) with Built-in Jack and 4 Channel Shortcuts.
Geniune Roku Enhanced Remote for Roku 2 (2720r, 2720rw) or Roku 3 (4200r) with Built-in Jack and 4 Channel Shortcuts.

Pros: The one thing I HATE about my Roku streaming sticks is the garbage remote they come with. This remote came with the Roku 2 Refurbs I bought and what a difference. Not once have I had to pull the batteries and reinsert them. It has sound, but soso on the sound, with the earbuds that come with it, BUT with my over the ear headset the sound is great. This pairs with the Roku Stick and works fine, except no wireless sound.

Cons: Wish they sell for $19.99, or a two pack, I really want to replace the Roku Stick remotes which are really garbage. This pairs with the Roku Sticks and works fine. You do not get wireless sound with the Roku Stick. The wireless sound with the Roku 2, when using a better headset is very good. I found the headsets supplied to not be as good as my over the ear headset.

Overall Review: Roku would be smart to included this with all their players. I can see people returning the Roku Stick because of the garbage remote it comes with. Wish I bought the Roku 2 or 3 and never bought the Roku Stick. These remotes make a world of difference, but at $29.99 buy the Roku 2 refurb on sale for $39.99. Just wait for it.

remote sucks - wi-fi range issue

Roku 3500R Streaming Stick (2014 Model) - Certified Refurbished
Roku 3500R Streaming Stick (2014 Model) - Certified Refurbished

Pros: It is the best deal of every smart stick. I bought two in addition to the one that came with my TV. The remote uses AAA batteries and does not work well Buy the Roku 2 instead

Cons: Unit overheats and stops working, AAA remote does not have the power it needs. I have three, the one that uses my TV remote is fine, I HATE the AAA remote. The Roku 2 has 2 x AA batteries and what a difference. Will give the sticks away to people I don't like. The Roku 2 remote works with the stick, but the replacement remote is $29.99, so just buy the Roku 2 with the better remote.

Overall Review: Roku makes a great product, make sure you get the Roku 2, refurb is a great deal. The AA (RC07) is the remote you want. While I rate the Roku stick 1 star the channels and everything are great. Maybe in winter it will stop having problems with overheating, till next summer. The remote will always suck. Forget any answers from Roku tech support, they do not know what they are selling. Use Google, you have a better chance of getting right answers. Buy a Roku 2 to start off, you will be much happier. I have Roku 2's but they did not come with an ethernet port which work better. Some Roku 2 do, or so says the chart. If it matters to you check which one will ship.
