Pros: Works beautifully in a chain of adapters... Dell laptop mini HDMI out : Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter : this HDMI to Displayport converter : Displayport to Mini Displayport adapter : Apple CinemaDisplay Best part is I don't even need the USB for power, even with this setup.

Cons: None

I only wish I could have afforded the Quad!

BUFFALO LS-WX3.0TL/R1 3TB LinkStation Duo Network Storage
BUFFALO LS-WX3.0TL/R1 3TB LinkStation Duo Network Storage

Pros: Fast Performance. Media server. Time Machine compatible.

Cons: Takes a long time to format and verify the RAID array after reconfiguring it.

Overall Review: This is my second Buffalo NAS device and I am even more thrilled than I am with my first one. I have recommended these to friends who all love them also. The built-in media server works great with my Blu-Ray player, even though both are wireless. I use Time Machine with it--again wireless--to back up multiple MacBooks. I reconfigured the RAID array to do mirroring for the ultimate in redundancy for my backups. I haven't tried music yet with iTunes but hear from a friend that it works well. My other Buffalo NAS is an old Terastation 1TB that after a few years I upgraded to 2TB by myself. I replaced all the drives and also upgraded the firmware. I have not had any problems with it after 5 years or so. The only con was formatting and verifying the array after I replaced the disks.
