Great power supply!

Sparkle Power FSP400-60GHS 400 W SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Sparkle Power FSP400-60GHS 400 W SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This inexpensive power supply has surpassed my expectations. Great choice for a mid-range homework, gaming, rendering PC for my children. These SFX PSs are tiny. They do not take up much PC case real estate, which allows for better cable management and cooling. The included PS fan is very quiet. I absolutely hate large and/or loud computers. The Sparkle PS fits comfortably in my Silverstone Sugo SG05BB and nicely compliments the Corsair H50 CPU cooler, Intel Core i5 4460, and EVGA 960. The only noise escaping the case is the whisper from the front intake fan that blows on the radiator.

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: I was a little concerned about the lack of reviews for this particular PS. You certainly don't want to be penurious when it comes to power, but you don't want to overspend either. Because of the cost difference between this Sparkle PS and those of Silverstone, and after checking reviews from other sites, I decided to take a chance. I have not been disappointed and I would definitely buy this product again.

Excellent Power Supply

Rosewill Glacier Series, Glacier 600M, 600W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Silent Aero-Diversion Fan with Auto Fan Speed Control, Single +12V Rail, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black
Rosewill Glacier Series, Glacier 600M, 600W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Silent Aero-Diversion Fan with Auto Fan Speed Control, Single +12V Rail, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black

Pros: Very, very quiet. Provides more that sufficient power for an energy conscious i5 build. Cables are all well made and have an attractive black sleeping to hide regular cable colors.

Cons: None. This was a very good buy.

Overall Review: I installed the PS in my sons new white Thermaltake V1 case that we bought to house a larger video card. The PS is extremely well made with excellent cables and cable management. It runs cool and and efficiently.

Fantastic case!

Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition Extreme Mini ITX Cube Chassis, Compatible with Air and Liquid Cooling Builds CA-1B8-00S6WN-01

Pros: Excellent design with plenty of space for 4 new mini-it’d Ryzen 5 builds. The cases are so attractive that several employees have expressed interest in building their own systems. All 4 panels are removable with (1) panel having a transparent acrylic panel and the bottom panel having a dust filter for the power supply.

Cons: The only disappointment is that the 200mm fan in the front has a 3pin header that is not controllable with my ASRock Fatal1ty motherboard. That means it would have run full speed all of the time if I had not opted for a push/pull configuration with a Cooler Master 120mm AIO.

Overall Review: I just finished building (3) Ryzen 5 systems and (1) Core i5 system. Ryzen 5 1600 65w ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 ADATA 16gb 3000mhz RAM Crucial 525gb M.2 SSD Cooler Master 120mm AIO Zalman 650w Full Modular PS MSI GTX970 Gaming 4gb, (2) EVGA GTX 960 SC 2gb Intel Core i5 3.2ghz 65w ASRock motherboard Corsair 8gb 2600mhz RAM Crucial 275gb SATA SSD Corsair 120mm AIO Arctic Glacier 600w Full Modular PS EVGA GTX970 SC 4gb I am very pleased with the results of each system. Powerful and cost effective.

Excellent MOBO!

ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac AM4 AMD Promontory B350 USB 3.1 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Pros: My new system includes: Thermaltake V1 case ASRock Fatality B350 mini-ITX Ryzen 5 1600 AData 3000 16gb memory Crucial M.2 525gb SSD EVGA GTX980ti Cooler Master AIO 120mm Everything booted first time without any errors. Windows 10 installed in less than 10 minutes. Amazing how fast this little performs. Several peers were so impressed that they have asked me to help them build the identical systems for themselves.

Cons: There are only 3 fan headers on the board. If it had 4, then this would be a perfect board.

Overall Review: The system is remarkably fast, small, and quiet. The 200mm fan is very quiet and marries nicely with the Cooler Master AIO 120mm in a push pull configuration. Keep in mind that I only have one of the included CM fans installed on the radiator because of the 3 mobo fan headers. If it had 4, then I could have had the two 120mm fans plus and the 200mm fan running. The third fan header is reserved for the CPU fan/pump.

Great video card for the price!

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 02G-P4-2962-KR 2GB SC GAMING, Only 6.8 inches, Perfect for mITX Build Graphics Card
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 02G-P4-2962-KR 2GB SC GAMING, Only 6.8 inches, Perfect for mITX Build Graphics Card

Pros: Compact size for SFF mini-ITX build. Absolutely silent. May not be as fast as a GTX 970 or 980, but is less than half the price and still delivers incredible performance. Runs Revit, ACAD, Lumion, Artlantis, PS, Illustrator, InDesign, and a whole slew of other programs with ease. Runs my sons' games well.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Because I did not need the latest gaming card - few games are ever played on this machine - there was no need to splurge and get the fastest video card. I was looking for something that would fit into my Silverstone Sugo SG05-BB and still allow for additional space for a few SDD. The fan is virtually silent - I am very, very pleased about the lack of noise or coil whine. The loudest sound is the rush of air being sucked in the front of the case to cool the Corsair H50 radiator. I would highly recommend this card.

Fired right up in a new build.

CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9

Pros: Plugged the matching pair into a new build and the machine fired right up. No errors, no BSOD, and no glitches. I buy memory from a variety of manufacturers. I have Corsair memory in two systems at home and have not had any problems. I am very pleased.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: The memory is small. It is well-constructed with a nice heat spreader. It is also very fast. I would like to replace the memory in a few other systems with these in the near future.
