G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL

Pros: Got it on sale from newegg.. 2 great reasons right there to snatch it up. More RAM is always good.

Cons: It wasn't free, but newegg doesn't run charity. Or do they?

Overall Review: Passed memtest, prime95, sisoft right out of the box

So far, so good, so great

MSI N760-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
MSI N760-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Fast, fast, fast, cheap. Plays everything I can throw at it, no lag at all. HUGE upgrade from the GTX 460 I had. Battlefield 4 on high no issues, Ultra is playable but drops to 30-40fps but that's not bad considering. I got it while on sale with rebate so that's just icing on the cake. I like the fact it has SIDE pci-ex power ports which keeps in mind spacing issues for smaller cases. It also came with adapters for DVI to VGA but I'm not worried about that - HDMI all the way.

Cons: None yet, very quiet card, puts up with everything I can throw at it with no issues. Very happy.

Overall Review: As usual, shockingly fast delivery from Newegg almost overnight shipping to me. This is why I prefer newegg over local stores hassling with out-of-stock products locally. The only thing that I can see holding me back now is my disk drive. I am waiting for SSD prices to fall and that should complete my build. When they do I will definitely return to newegg and pick up an SSD and maybe upgrade my Phenom II x4 to a x8 core. Thanks again newegg from a LONG time customer.

Good to go

Antec NeoECO C NeoECO 620C 620W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Antec NeoECO C NeoECO 620C 620W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cheap, good deal for the money I paid with the mail in rebate

Cons: Whirring noise from the fan on startup? I'm hoping this won't be an issue but when I startup my computer I get a slight whirr noise from the fan that goes away. I unplugged all my case fans and double checked my GPU and CPU and it seems to be coming from the PSU. Either way, it quiets up after a few seconds and doesn't seem to make any other noise or have any issues while running and I do run it most of the day - maybe 18 hours or so. If there are any issues I will see it soon and update this review.

Overall Review: Just needed a 600+W PSU to replace my trusty old Enermax 420W that has been running for close to 5 years strong now. I recently went from a 460GTX to a 760GTX and needed the extra juice from my PSU. This seems to hold up just fine. As usual, newegg ships amazing fast and no issues ordering from their site.

Surprisingly fast wifi

EDIMAX EW-7128G Wireless Card IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
EDIMAX EW-7128G Wireless Card IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Easy to setup, long antenna cable for placement high above computer when computer case is on the ground, always 'excellent' 5/5 bars or 'good' 4/5 bars connection, speeds were tested with wire and without and were nearly similar.

Cons: The CD it came with did not work well with Windows 7 Home edition I had installed. I had to install the PCI card, run Windows Update and luckily it found the drivers for it right away and installed in 2 minutes. Not a big deal but I would have thought the manufacture of the card would have working drivers for Windows 7.

Overall Review: Netgear and linksys failed with Windows 7, drivers were not compatible. $20 for this card vs. $45-70 they want is a good deal. 5/5 stars.
