Looks great, works ok
Pros: Visually clean design. RGB lighting works great on a motherboard that supports it. Keeps a high end CPU cool (in a large, open case) Air swirls around the base of the CPU. I imagine this airflow is enough to keep the VRM cool.
Cons: At idle fan speed, CPU fan is heard over all other fans. Fan speed is fixed, not adjustable manually or automatically by temp.
Overall Review: At idle, everything looks fine. Some less demanding games don't bring the temps up too much. Very CPU demanding games like Cyberpunk, shoot the temps right up to 99C and the CPU throttles. This cooler is unable to keep an i7-9700 cool. I will be replacing this cooler with a different unit.
Volume control issue
Pros: Great design, compliments the other white electronics on my desk. Good sound for low to medium volume Space Age MCM
Cons: After a couple months of use, I noticed that the volume knob only controls volume for the right speaker. (the speaker that the volume knob is physically on) The other speaker just stays at whatever volume level is sent from the PC. Rebooting or re-seating the speaker USB connection does not resolve it. Now I just have to leave the volume set in the middle and use Windows volume to control audio levels.
Overall Review: I like the speakers but sad about the volume issue on mine. :(
Basic inline fuse
Pros: Just as advertised. This is a short section of wire, commonly put near the battery terminal. Great for having a fuse for a small to medium powered amplifier.
Overall Review: Mine came with a 40amp fuse. I would recommend buying a appropriately sized fuse for your application and try to buy a quality fuse.
Basic gaming computer
Pros: Build seems good. Board is nice and small as you would expect. CPU cooler clears the ram. I used a Noctua low profile air cooler and standard DDR4 memory with no heatsinks. Installed GTX video card and everything fits in a tiny case and works. I'm using a locked 8th gen i5. Nothing too hot.
Cons: Everything went together fine. I have not had a problem yet.
Overall Review: I've found Asus products to be good quality and this board is no different. My primary gaming PC is also using an Asus board and my monitor is an Asus Pro Art.
Not great for newer macOS
Pros: - Works on Windows - Small size - Good range and speed
Cons: Website includes no drivers for this product. Included disc does not include drivers for Apple computers. Their website has AC1900 drivers that only install on High Sierra or older. Catalina (10.15) is not that recent but is not covered as advertised. I purchased this specifically because it said it supports macOS 10.15 which it does not. Now I have another wifi USB for Windows 10 to add to my collection.
Overall Review: Good for Windows 7, 8, and 10 Good for macOS High Sierra or older
