Sturdy, Quality Fans for a Rad
Pros: -Great balance of static pressure, air flow, and noise -Quality feel
Cons: -As others have said they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, I'm not really complaining
Overall Review: I'm using a pair of these as push fans for my Corsair H110 closed loop liquid cooler. They have dropped my CPU temps by 2-3 degrees C across the board. These feel like high end fans with a nice texture and sturdy construction. They can make a bit of noise at high speeds but turning them up with a fan controller has a satisfying umf to it. They wind up quickly and with a lot of torque. The noise sounds and feels like just a lot of air being moved rather than rattling or whining or any other annoying sounds. The fans that came with the H110 are **** in my opinion. They make a lot of rattling noises at higher speeds. These BitFenix fans seems to do the job nicely, though. I'm ordering more for my next rad. I would definitely recommend these fans but you may want a fan controller to make full use of them.
Handy tool while it worked
Pros: -very simple to use -wide range of applications -worked reliably for a couple months
Cons: -easy to plug in IDE port off center or backwards -my unit failed after a few months
Overall Review: I work on and build PC's as a side business in addition to my day job. I wouldn't exactly call myself a professional but I test a few old IDE hard drives a day in the background while gaming and this was a great little tool to format drives before selling them. This adapter was just what I needed while it worked. I formatted somewhere around 25 older hard drives with capacities between 20-250GB over a couple months. I also used this adapter to burn a few CD's on older IDE CD/DVD drives and that worked fine as well. Yesterday I had a drive fail half way through formatting and I figured it was just the drive so I tossed in in the reject pile to take apart later for magnets and other fun bits. The next drive the same thing happened... and the next.... then I tried to burn another CD and iTunes would say there had been an error after a couple seconds. I tried a known good drive and a couple other PCs just to be sure. It's definitely dead. I would say I got my use out of it but I wish it would have lasted longer than a couple months. I'll look for a similar adapter of a different make.
Perfectly Fine Cord
Pros: -Good quality -Cheap price
Cons: -Nothing to complain about
Overall Review: I find it difficult to think of much to say about cords and wires... it works, it shipped and got here fast, it feels to be of decent quality, the price is right. I'm running my tower, 3 27" monitors, and a set of Logitech Z5500 speakers on this cord. My whole desk pulls 1200 watts from the wall at full power and this cord is handling it fine. No complains from me
Does the Job
Pros: -Works just fine
Cons: -No complaints here
Overall Review: It's pretty hard to go wrong here. It's black, it's 15 feet long, it's.... oh yeah we're talking about the cord. No complaints from me. Very reasonable price and it does the job. Feels decently constructed.
Fine for the Price
Pros: Cheap price, fits a 3.5" card reader perfectly
Cons: Plastic feels a little flimsy, not such a con at this price
Overall Review: For $5 I have absolutely no complaints about this bracket. The plastic does feel a bit cheap but again it's 5 bucks so I don't expect much. I'm using this in the front of my Corsair 750D to mount my 3.5" Rosewill card reader. The plastic is just a bit more glossy than my case so it doesn't match perfectly, but it's just fine for my needs and looks pretty good. I have no problem recommending this bracket.
Best cat toy ever also takes temperatures
Pros: Cool laser for the cat to chase around the house -Takes the temperature of things somewhat accurately -Helped me find shoddy insulation in my attic
Cons: It is not extremely precise but it does measure temperature to within a few degrees (not that much of a con given the price)
Overall Review: I picked mine up on a ShellShocker deal for even less than the current price. There are certainly more accurate devices on the market but given the price this thing works great for simple jobs and is a fun novelty. I've used it to find hot spots in my ceiling to save on cooling, check the catalytic converters on my car, and trip people with a charging cat. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.
