Great Vid Card

Pros: Got the card on Black Friday for a great price. Thanks newegg. This cad has lots of room for overclocking. I messed around with the settings but decided just to leave it at stock settings because it performs just fine on stock settings. Used it on my son's gaming rig and it plays everything like BF3, Crysis2, MW3 on max settings. This card is a beast. Outperforms my 5770.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: My sons build outperforms my fist gen i7 build. Sons build: i5 3570 HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB MSI Z77A-GD80 16GB G.Skill ripjaw ddr3 1600 (4x4GB) Corsair 650w psu Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo cpu cooler Corsair 400R ATX MIdtower
Great Video Card

Pros: Great card plays every game thrown at it. Card Still running two years later with no issues.
Cons: Non

Great motherboard

Pros: Best bang for the buck motherboard. Got on Black Friday for cheaper than its current price. It is currently in my son's build. Heavy gaming, video and music editing as well. Lots of use. I haven't had any issues what so ever. It is now April of 2013 and board was bought in Nov 2012. No issues with live update or anything else. Currently running a Radeon 7850 2gb, 16gb ram, i5 3570, 2tb hardrive, 240gb ssd, powered by Cooler Master PSU. I have always had good luck with MSI. My first Gen i7 board is still running great. My daughters SB board is still running great as well. MSI customer service is always great to work with as well.
Cons: None so far. Will update if anything comes up. But it never does with MSI.
Overall Review: Tried a little over clocking with board. Didn't order a k processor so not much head room. Held stable could go further if I had ordered a k processor. But decided against for a 13 year old.
Great RAM

Pros: Great RAM no issues even after 18 months of ownership. Still running like the day I bought it. i always wait awhile after purchase to right a review of products. This RAM is great and I have had know issues. Just know that you need to enable XMP mode in bios to get the 1600. Comes factory preset at 1300. Not worth docking an egg. Especially since it's running like new after 18 months of heavy use. It's in my daughters gaming rig so very heavy use.
Cons: None
Great Drive

Pros: I purchased my first one three years ago. It did so great I purchased one for my daughters build two years ago. Mine and hers was sill running great so I purchased one for my son's build on Black Friday of 2012. Now we are it's march of 2013. Best bang for your buck drive out there. Great Price especially since my first one is still running like the day I bought it. That was three years ago. Have to give this drive a superior rating thanks ASUS.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I am going to have to see if ASUS makes BR drives for my new build at the end of the year. Sold on ASUS optical drives.
Great Processor

Pros: Great performance purchased on black Friday for a very good price on newegg. (Love newegg great customer service and easy to use tracking.) Does everything I throw at it. Bought this for my son's gaming rig I built him for Christmas. He's 13 and does gaming, video editing, and does alot of sound mixing with ableton live. This processor out performs my first gen i7 920 in every application so far.
Cons: Had to dock an egg because of heat issues. You will need to get an after market cpu cooler to keep it cool during heavy extended use. I knew that when I bought it but be warned this processor does run hotter than previous generations. But the after market cooler I am using is doing the trick.
Overall Review: Paired with a radeon 7850 this processor is a great for gaming.
