Details Tab
Pros: Works as intended. Got mine for under 25 bucks on a sale. Advertises 350w, puts out 350w. It isn't loud, and its construction doesn't look or feel cheap. What a price!
Cons: A very small number of wires-- But this is a cheap 350w power supply. I don't like 20 pin connectors, but it works fine.
Overall Review: There's a tab between this one and "Overview" that very clearly states this has a 20-pin main connector. People who are complaining about this have nobody to blame but themselves. Why would you dock 4 eggs for something clearly outlined in the unit's specs?
Must Warn You
Pros: Worked like a charm while it worked. Everything as advertised-- reduced startup strain, quiet operation, fairly fast for a platter hard drive. Seemed great for a lower power system.
Cons: Failed in under 3 months. Warranty does absolutely nothing for your data. I bought this hard drive as an emergency data dump for another drive I had failed (After five years of great operation), and was waiting for the next one to arrive in order to have a backup drive. So, for a short time, ALL of my data was resting on this drive. Then it failed on me. What is the point, though? WD won't do anything more than replace the darn thing.
Overall Review: Always apply redundancy when it comes to backing up your data-- I was unlucky, due to this being an emergency purchase. Now I lost years and years of work, tax documents, and personal data. Not many people can afford exotic data recovery options.
Raise the Dead-- Two States Away
Pros: -For a 10 inch, low-priced unit, this thing is LOUD. Like, really loud. Like, your house is going to rattle if you set it up right -Low price for such a sturdy construction. Piano black, wooden box with good acoustics -Configurable phase and frequency response -Very crisp, rich bass across its frequency range, the biggest surprise of all at this price point -Help, I think I went deaf
Cons: -None so far, can't beat the boom for the buck!
Overall Review: Make sure you are using this in a medium or medium-large room, we had to turn the gain down a bit in our fairly small living room. This has to be the loudest sub and amp kit at this price point. I've heard of reliability issues with subs at this price point, but I've never encountered issues with Klipsch products in the past
Little charger set
Pros: Comes with wall and car adaptors, charges batteries relatively quickly, comes with high-quality 2300mAh batteries! Fool-proof charging indication lights.
Cons: Runs a bit hot?
Overall Review: People tend not to be interested in the mAh rating of the batteries in their chargers. They also tend to be the ones whining about how terrible rechargable batteries are. Aim for 2k + on AA batteries
Thor V2 v 2.0
Pros: Second one- Still awesome, still so roomy you can rent space out, and still a forerunner in cable-management and design. This is a feel-solid, look solid, rock solid case that shouldn't be anything but admired.
Cons: Instruction manual is a joke, and the top panel's mounted using plastic stoppers-- These broke on my first case the first time I moved it. Just be careful
Overall Review: First case's fan controller was half-dead. The second one works fine! Rosewill has great customer support, and this outstanding desire to assist their customers reflects extremely well upon them-- Rosewill has me in their net!
Extension cable
Pros: 4 dollar cable that promises to extend your 4-pin CPU cable. It extends the cable. Easy on the wallet, built with the proper level of quality, not too long.
Cons: Not sleeved, but that is to be expected.
Overall Review: 8 inches doesn't seem like much, but you don't need more than this, even with a bottom-mounted PSU in a super ATX tower. Any more of an extension would just become cumbersome and bulky.
