MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: As posted before this board is amazing. This is the best of all 790FX board currently. The Promise SATA controller is actually a SAS SCSI adaptor. SAS is backward compatible to SATA so most noobs won't notice it unless they take a close look at the box. I'm going to upgrade my Hard drives to Fujitsu 15k SAS drives. Them things are way faster then raptors (yet cost the same) and this board supports them right out of the box :D.

Cons: No cons unless you’re dumb and expects to use an enthusiast platform and think its going to be a simple build.

Overall Review: Why are there people saying they have problems with nvidia cards when this is a Crossfire board??? People having issues with Bios v1.4 listen up. Before you update your bios to V1.4, backup all your data to another HD. Make sure to flash your bios from DOS mode for this, as it'll corrupt your OS. After the flash delete all Raid arrays and redo them, then install your OS again. The reason for this is that V1.4 will cause the raid controller to reinitialize. It WILL cause data corruption if you use Raid 0 or Raid 0+1. As a note MSI fixed the issue where Ram can't run at 1066Mhz with Phenoms with V1.4 and fixed a ton of stability issues. Unless you purchased your board with v1.4 already make sure to backup your data. V1.4 is a MUST HAVE! Well it was for me at least :P. Btw to the dude that said his nVidia card only runs at PCI-Ex 8x. If you looked in the book you'll see that only Slots 1 and 3 operate in 16x mode. That's why the ports are color-coded. It’s not just for looks.

TP-Link EAP330 AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point
TP-Link EAP330 AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point

Pros: It looks nice and works great until it doesn't. Good range

Cons: It fails when you attempt to transfer a large file or the data rate nears the maximum of the 801.11ac spec. It will reboot. I've tested this on 4 different units. TP-Link attempted to correct the issue by making a "gen 2" model but it also reboots on high utilization. I figured this would be a great replacement for the 'routers' that verizon gives people but those never fail like this thing does. I lost out big on these. I replaced the 4 units with 2 AP's by Rukus networks after only 3 month of use.

Absolutely Perfect

NETIS WF2190 AC1200 Wireless High Gain USB 3.0 Adapter with Dual 5 dBi Antenna & USB Cradle Extension Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS
NETIS WF2190 AC1200 Wireless High Gain USB 3.0 Adapter with Dual 5 dBi Antenna & USB Cradle Extension Compatible with Windows MAC Linux OS

Pros: With the stock antenna it works great. Great range and very fast scanning and connectivity. I'm hitting 300 Mbps with a N router on a router 2 floors up on the opposite side of the building. After replacing the antenna with 8Db high gain omni the range is insane. I can see all the networks for a few blocks. Wifi speeds exceeds 150Mbps throughput easily. Way better then anything the other brands are capable of pulling off.

Cons: No cons other then the stock antenna not being as good as the 8Db antenna.

Overall Review: I took the advice of other reviewers and installed 2 TP-LINK TL-ANT2408CL Antenna's. The difference is truly significant and VERY worth it.

Good for roughly 1 year

Logitech M500 Black Tilt Wheel USB Corded Laser 1000 dpi Mouse
Logitech M500 Black Tilt Wheel USB Corded Laser 1000 dpi Mouse

Pros: Smooth speedy scrolling and able to be locked for a normal scroll feel - laser - corded (no dieing batteries in the middle of a game) - perfect number of buttons - design feels comfy in my hand and has well balanced weight.

Cons: No cons at first but as other reviewers reported; the left mouse button fails after roughly over 1 year of use and the laser tracks very sporadically. A little bit of time after those symptoms begin to appear. The mouse just dies completely and can't be recognized by the computer.

Overall Review: Logitech support is amazing as is usual. I'm on my third one of these that they've sent. It always ends up the same after the year of use is up. Logitech doesn't even ask for the old one. They just send you a brand spanking new mouse in the packaging with almost with no questions asked. My 3 year warranty is over in a few months. If it fails again (don't doubt this at this point) I'll have to buy a brand new mouse. Because of the support and the fact it is one of the few corded laser mice with a comfy design I give it 5 stars.

Does what it is supposed to do.

Antec SNP90 Slim Notebook Power Adapter
Antec SNP90 Slim Notebook Power Adapter

Pros: The unit worked as promised in the description.

Cons: None besides it needs a better description of each of the connectors.

Overall Review: The length of the A connector doesn't clip into place on fujitsu laptops well. It appears to be just a little bit too short. Sometimes it would pop out. Not really good enough to consider as a con as it holds well enough that it doesn't happen often. It might become an issue down the road when the connector gets worn but so far it's working fine.

Still kicking after 2 years

NETGEAR GS108T-100NAS Smart Gigabit Smart Switch
NETGEAR GS108T-100NAS Smart Gigabit Smart Switch

Pros: Massive feature set for a small home switch Thing never crashes runs cool metal casing almost no pocket loss really The bang for your buck factor is very high with this thing. I very highly recommend this if you don't like using wifi and know how to properly set this thing up.

Cons: Haven't found a single con at this price grade

Overall Review: I'm running this little switch with 6 machines at home. Have my 25Mb d/20Mb up Fios connection attached to my Cisco 700 connected to this little thing. There are 6 machines connected to it with a windows home server machine running as my backup, network storage, media server, web server, and teamspeak server. I've never experienced anything wrong and sometimes forget I even have it. Normally I reset it from the GUI once every 6 months or so.
