Great for older computers
Pros: 1138 MB/s read 656.7 MB/s write in PCIe 2.0X4 slot. Windows recognized without drivers. Old motherboard recognized as hard disk. Comes with free OEM Acronis that is probably useful for some. Nice packaging.
Cons: none, I just wonder if I stuck one of those Samsung XP941s in this if I would get better write. Maybe I'll find out.
Overall Review: I put this in an older (~2010) Supermicro X8DAL-i dual 1366 Workstation that cost a fortune when it was new. I had a Crucial 240GB SSD that was getting 200 MB/s or so. I had a performance bottleneck in certain situations due to disk write, this has cleared those up. I think this computer will get another year or two now.
meh..
Pros: It works. USB3.
Cons: Supermicro is my last choice when it comes to buying a server motherboard. This board is a great example why: No manual, had to look up front panel jumper diagram online When using their website, typing in 'X10SLH-F-O' or any variant of this model number return no results, you have to use Google No driver disc, and the driver links on their site didn't work, so I had to get the C226 RSTe driver from the Intel site. Couldn't upgrade BIOS via IPMI until I read a review here. Thanks "N/A".
Overall Review: Wasted too much time digging around for info that should have been included.
Cheap.
Pros: Low cost. 24.5" for $109 seems like a good deal.
Cons: Atrocious viewing angles. Really, really bad.
Overall Review: 24.5" for $109 seems like a good deal, yes, but buy these and you'll see that is not the case. I have 3 in portrait mode mounted right next to each other. Center is aligned with my vision and looks ok. Screens on the right and left are so distorted that I have to continually shift my head and shoulders toward that monitor in order to read text. I have had TN panels before, but I don't remember anything this bad. This would be an acceptable choice if you only need one monitor and you're looking straight into the center.
works on verizon
Pros: cost moto is close to pure Google decent screen size carrier compatible decent internal storage expansion camera is better than expected performance is better than expected fingerprint reader works well
Cons: lightweight 720p resolution
Overall Review: I like this phone. I have owned many Android phones, and although this is not as nice as a Pixel or Galaxy S7 edge, it definitely is an amazing value at $130.
Excellent.
Pros: -Awesome Power. 50-60FPS BF1 on Ultra -Big, matte, G-Sync display -Nice mechanical feel keys
Cons: -No retail packaging, not a big deal but lowers resale value. -The black textured material shows fingerprints
Overall Review: For those who say this doesn't come equipped with G-Sync, it does but the BIOS needs to be updated to 1.08 or later. Mine shipped with 1.04 installed and if you look at the BIOS updates on Acer's site, it states "G-Sync monitor support" under v1.08. I wanted an inexpensive gaming laptop as I have to travel and stay in hotels for work. I was looking at the inspiron 7000 but I'm happy I shopped around and found this on sale. It renders double the FPS my 2016 alienware 15R2, which was double the price and had the same processor. The Kaby Lake was the only advantage of buying something new but from what I've read it probably has a negligible effect on gaming.
Nice, fast, simple HTPC
Pros: Plenty powerful for streaming media-based HTPC. Added a 2.5" SSD, Installed Win 10, K-lite codecs, Plex home theater, some custom UI tweaks, and plugged in a FLIRC. Works great as intended. This may be the best ~$300 HTPC option available as of 11/16
Cons: "Specifications" list there is a mSATA port, There isn't. There are two stacked m.2 slots, one is occupied by the wifi card, the other (I assume) would support a M.2 2242 NGFF SSD.
Overall Review: The three different processors offered are essentially the same; all 2 core 4 thread, same QPI, Graphics, etc. The only difference is the clock speed.
Avoid.
Bought and paid for one item, received another, much less expensive item. Not responding to RMA request.
"price adjustments against policy"
A product I bought dropped in price $100 a couple of days after purchase. I asked for the difference, "David White" said they do not offer price adjustment. It looks like I made a mistake offering them my business. Feels like I got ripped off; I will look carefully in the future to make sure I don't purchase anything from Sunset Electronics.
