Pros: Great OCr...4.5G without issue. Very power efficiency. I have another one installed and OC'd in an ITX case with a stock heat sink.
Overall Review: This 6th gen chip will support Win7.
Pros: Meets specs, great mounting arrangement.
Cons: Instruction are correct after some time spent studying them.
Overall Review: I was able to install this in an existing build without having to remove the motherboard for access to back. That was a real plus. Temp rise at 75 watts maxed out at 70 C which is much improved over what the standard Intel Cooler supplied. Coupled with a generation two i5-2500K running at an easily overclocked 4.4 Ghz
I recommend this cooler
Pros: Two of these allows me to connect one of six computers to a 2 input large 1080p display panel. The cost was modest.
Overall Review: Automatically switches inputs when one of its input computers is turned on. Manual switch is supplied on the input pod. Digital means no picture degradation when used at 1080p.
Pros: Great color, contrast, and viewing angle for my "office like" corner in the kitchen. Attached to a computer on my home network work and nice for the HD video available to it.
Overall Review: Sturdy stand with enough viewing angle adjustment for my setup. Would buy again.
Cons: Poor setup instructions
Overall Review: Replaced my 5 year old MX870
Pros: Works as specified. Joined my Tenda adapter 300n network. Complete with CD install disc.
Overall Review: Great service by Action Packaged Inc. Ordered Friday evening specifying free delivery and it was delivered SUNDAY by the USPS. (Special First Class)
Pros: Excellent out of box. Brilliant display at 1920-1080 p resolution. Only 23W measured when in use. Same value as specified.
Cons: Have to go to the internet if assembly instructions are needed. None at all regards assembling included in package.
Overall Review: Great buy for my monitor/video needs. Recommend Acer!
Pros: Low price for this item on sale. Needed a new headset for my exercise period on an indoor track. Comfortable and good fitting.Good sensitivity.
Cons: It may be my ears but not much treble content though still suitable for my needs.
Overall Review: Hard to beat for $22 delivered.
Pros: Excellent layout and small size. If you only want to use the internal graphics connected to a captive display, it works well.
Win7 and G3258 processor.
Cons: I have done more than a dozen MB installations and this Mb's bios is unsatisfactory for my Win 7 installation attempt. The BIOS does not support external Graphics Card in any way giving only the choice enable/disable the CPU internal graphics. No choice of Pciex x16 slot and external graphics plugged in do not work....not even a pass through.
BIOS Version is FD. A later version was downloaded (Sep '14) but the installer that comes with it is not compatible with "Win7 64 bit"
Overall Review: I needed to be able to switch display connections to a panel which hosted multiple computers (one at time). When this computer was disconnected from the panel, it would shut down and that was undesirable. The external graphics would have been a solution for this problem
Cons: Like the other brand of China made cable. Suffered from cannot identify problem. Threw them away.
Overall Review: Ordered some Belkin 15 footers from the EGG and they WORK correctly. Belkin is my recommendation.
Pros: Using this Belkin USB extender to connect to a Canon printer remote from my PC. No problems with failure to identify the connected hardware that plague the other two brands of 15 to 16 foot extenders offered by NewEgg. I have purchased those other two brands and they were total failures. Get this one for your extension needs. Belkin is quality.
Cons: All units have manufacturing error that results in the inability of the attached device to be recognized. All four units gave same error. The attached device was self powered so the power feed capability was the issue.
The error message for all four cables stated: "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.".
OS is Win7 Premium.
Overall Review: It would be useful if someone technical at the egg would confirm this to their satisfaction leading to New Egg returning all their defective stock of this part to the supplier.
Pros: Economical High Performance and really cool literally. My location has 11 devices in networked in two and a half stories. Good to very good signal to all. Manual method used to complete the setup. Wireless adapters included both wireless G and wireless N configured with WPA2 security with AES.
Overall Review: This unit replaced an older Cisco and Rosewill wireless G units that were dispatched to my trash can. All stations worked well with the this new unit ---proved to me that it wasn't my ISP that was my problem and glad for that result.
Pros: Up and running within four hours of receipt on my front porch without a hitch. Installed into a cleanly installed Win8.1 operating system with media center added. Cable supplier to be commended is WOW who capably paired the M Card with the Ceton hardware over the phone. WOW is the top rated cable company in the areas where it operates per Consumers Reports and I concur. Running on a second generation Intel system staffed with a i5-2500k cpu with graphics via a 6570 AMD driven PCIE board all in a compact case low profile case. Standby power with this combination about 68 watts. Great delivery by Egg and UPS.
Overall Review: This is not my first cable card system but by far the most pleasurable.
Pros: Got it at best market price from the egg and not disappointed in its delivered performance. Will use the digital coaxial audio output to use sound system external to my HDTV panel.
Cons: Disappointed that the MLB application is non functional. I am a longtime subscriber to MLB and could not log in by any method. Other application were functional including Netflix which I use.
Overall Review: Be aware that the audio out jack is for Digital Coax Connector and cable and plan accordingly if plan to use.
Pros: As others have noted, it is not recognized initially by operating systems. It is not defective but just not initialized.
With access to Win7 or Win8 Administrative Functions from the Control Panel, the Drive initialization can be performed. (disk directory method--the old Master Boot Record or the new standard that accommodates large drive Capacities of the future). Select MBR which is what most older systems with the non graphic Bios use.
Overall Review: Great delivery service provided by the Egg. Order Monday am, receive Wednesday pm via Fedex ground. (egg saver)
Pros: Feature rich with a good assortment of card sockets for my catchall build. Combined with a PCIEx1 Adapter Card to provide an IDE interface for two removable hard drive cartridge cases. Also installed two PCIEx1 tuner cards with one using the 16x4 slot. The CPU is an Ivy Bridge i3-3225. I Used the CPU Graphics. OS is Win8 Pro with WMC.
Cons: Did not boot as others have reported. However, by using the "A" set of ram slots only, it boots as a single channel memory with no noticeable performance issues. I put a pair of 4G DDR3-1333 rams into A1 and A2 and all worked well. Any ram placed into the B ram slots prevents boot and the constant error light on.
I have built a half dozen of the i series from all three generations. I most gentle in the placement of the CPU onto the socket. It was dropped gently onto the socket in proper position. Since the board works well for me in this single channel mode, I will not go through the agony of return and all that entails.
Win8 Experience ratings:
Hard Disk 5.9
Overall Review: A i5-3570K would have been nice but I was on a budget re-build job with this one. :)
Pros: Three HDMI inputs, headphone jack, 1080p, energy efficient all with a quality picture. Worked out of the box. Stand attachment went well. Swivel feature helps.
Overall Review: Combined with two media center pc's and a fine Logitec 2.1 powered speaker set. This is my second Scepter panel system. A 32 inch model in my den for 18 months works very well and encouraged me to pick up this 40 in model (on sale).
Pros: Very secure protection.
Cons: Hard for me to finally get it properly installed. Hint: Keep the soft inner protection in the plastic hard shell and just work your phone into the combo. I had removed the plugs for the usb and headphones probably unncessarily.
Overall Review: Would buy again. The price was good.
Pros: Pros: Perfect for my Acer Laptop with I-3 gen 1 mobile processor. Use for clear QAM on cable reception worked flawlessly with W7 Home Premium. Great price (28 with shipping incl). An inexpensive way to add digital cable TV to Windows Media Center via a USB input without opening up the "box". Additionally provides FM including record ability when installed in non-cable mode with ATSC HD antenna. Only one USB port is used by the whole thing.
I take back my con regarding the antenna when used with the application instead of WMC. When the antenna is placed on steel, its magnetic base stabilizes it and signal strength is pretty good for ATSC and FM. With the included antenna, all 12 local HDTV channels and 20 FM stations were received and installed.
Overall Review: I installed the stick into my desktop with an i5-2500k cpu using the built in graphics driver HD3000. Flawless operation on the 32 inch monitor hosting the desktop. Its previous location in my laptop also used the built in HD2000 display driver. Any on and off stuttering of the display is caused by marginal signal strength. I use my desktop mouse for all functions. Application software was stable and all that is needed when operating this device. Digital TV is compatible with Windows Media Center but not FM.
Pros: Awesome image. Worked out of the box with no problems.
Overall Review: This monitor is used with a I-2500k cpu driven ASUS z68 motherboard using the HD3000 video graphics included within the cpu. The monitor was left in the standard mode setting as received. The intensity was decreased using the HD3000 Adjustment Console. Tweaked the color adjustments. Connection was via the DVI input.
Pros: Great image, LOW power, 3 HDMI inputs among other connections, and a Head Phone Jack to connect to external 2.1 speakers all make for a great budget entertainment setup for me. Panel power measured at 50 watts for max bright setup. Serves as focal point for a HD Cable receiver and two PVR PC's using the three HDMI inputs. Worked out of the box with no defects noted.
Overall Review: Mated to a Logitech Z313 25 w 2.1 Speaker System also purchased from the Egg..The combo plays well in my small room.
Pros: When this card is used in a Win7 Premium system, Media Center works flawlessly. Best 480 definition performance of the several types I have tried IMO. I am about to order my fifth card. My cable company is currently converting their analog channels to QAM 480 definition over a three month interval. This card handles that just fine for me for the first month's change. Small card great for tight HTPC's.
Overall Review: I do not use the included remote but use my WMC remote. I have used this with AMD/ATI 55xx series of graphic cards for several of my builds to achieve great image adjustment and provide an HDMI feed to my 32inch panel. This combo makes the 480 def pix very attractive and with great color. (Analog or QAM)
Pros: Easy installation in 64 bit Win 7 Home Premium HTPC with i5-650 CPU. Using QAM for HDTV and NTSC for analog cable. Used Media Center and setup was straight forward. Graphics by the 650 CPU outputting via HDMI to 32 inch panel.
Overall Review: Board length is such as may interfered with by memory socket on some uATX boards.
Though the board is low profile, it comes with a normal profile bracket and no low profile bracket is included in the box.
ASUS P7H55M PRO Mbd
6 G DDR3 1333 Ram
Pros: All the adjustments you could want for an HDMI fed video to HDTV panel. Great color with gamma adj and overscan correction. Included low profile bracketry is must for an entertainment center PC. Cool running too. It only consumes and additional ten watts compared with MBd resident graphics. The price....wow
Overall Review: I installed onto a Zotac 630i MBd and used the supplied ATI CD software disc. The installation was into Windows7 RC and was flawless. By using the CD, the necessary ATI display management is obtained. I later used Windows update to refresh the driver. Will buy more.
