About to hit 3 Years, still running strong
Pros: I'm not a fan of reviewing a product and listing pros and cons, it's too tedious and doesn't quite get to the point in my opinion. Nonetheless, I do feel that it is necessary to review this motherboard. 3 years ago this November I decided to put together myself an entry level gaming computer. I bought this motherboard and after all this time it's still running strong, with no problems whatsoever. It is a little outdated now, but installation was simple, all the attachment points were easily connected and it's been smooth sailing since. I would recommend it for a daily use desktop, not really optimal for a gaming build.
Cons: There are a few things, but really nothing significant enough to mention.
Just... perfect.
Pros: Corsair continues to impress me with their products. The military-like design is executed flawlessly; from the steel material it was built with, to the clasp locks. The wire management creates a clean interior even with a PSU that isn't modular. Plenty of room to work with and it will be ready for future released upgrades. Fantastic case, built tough and for the builder.
Cons: None so far.
Excellent Storage
Pros: Now that massive memory is becoming rather cheap, this product is both reasonably priced and preforms adequately. My previous HDD was an outdated Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB 6.0Gb/s which I have been using for the past few years. There hasn't been a drastic change in performance however, after partitioning a separate storage location for my operating system, there seems to be a shorted boot process. It was an easy install and everything has worked out perfectly so far!
Cons: None initially with the hard drive itself.
Overall Review: Attempting to clone all of my previous storage from my old hard drive did have some drawbacks, however that was related to the program I used, Norton Ghost. My setup - RAIDMAX Blade ATX Mid Tower Computer Case CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600 AMD FX-4300 Vishera 3.8GHz XFX HD-677X-ZNFC Radeon HD 6770 ASUS M5A99FX PRO Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W Western Digital WD Black 1TB
Stylish and Affordable
Pros: For the price this is a great looking case! The side glass gives a prefect view at the motherboard and the ventilation is efficient to keeping the all the internals cool. The tool-less design is fantastic, considering I'm usually too lazy to go grab a screw driver just to install a CD/DVD drive. The water cooling support is nice; however I prefer not to use it myself.
Cons: The only issue I have with this case is the fact that wire control is a bit hectic.
Overall Review: Simply a wonderful case for the price!
