Great cooler

Noctua NH-L12 120mm & 92mm SSO Bearing PWM Fans CPU Cooler
Noctua NH-L12 120mm & 92mm SSO Bearing PWM Fans CPU Cooler

Pros: Build quality. Quiet. Accessories. Works great.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I am using this on an Asrock FM2A85X-ITX. Officially it is not supported, however I was able to mount it using the intel no-back plate bolts and the AMD spacers and crossbars. Heatpipes touch the VR heatsink but does not cause any non-cosmetic issues. I have this mounted in a Silverstone SG05 case on an a8-5600k processor. I am using the 120mm fan to replace the stock Silverstone intake fan. This has dropped my CPU temps under load by 10-15 degrees from the stock HS/Fan.

Pros: None

Cons: Failed in less than 3 months

Overall Review: Started to fail at about 45 days, that's 15 days outside the warranty for refurbished devices. Luckily I was able to order a replacement (SanDisk Ultra Plus 128Gig) and was able to dupe the corsair over to it before it completely failed.

Nice Living Room PC Case

Antec ISK 110 VESA Black ABS plastic / 0.8 mm SECC Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 90W External Adapter, Up to 92% Efficiency Power Supply

Pros: Small Silent Power Light not overly bright

Cons: Molex connector length is very short.

Overall Review: I haven't experienced any RF interference like reported by others. I had to use an molex extension cable to power the internal USB hub. Cable was way to short to reach the bottom of the case, which was the only place I could fit the hub. Build is tight, but the cables can be managed if you are careful and temperatures don't hit 70 degrees under full load. Good Board for XBMC

ASUS J1800I-C Intel Celeron Dual-Core J1800 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo

Pros: Lower Power Usage Passively Cooled

Cons: BIOS that shipped on board only supported Windows 8.

Overall Review: Had to flash BIOS to load any other OS besides Windows 8. Considering the market this board is targeted at, that is a pretty huge over site. Once flashed it is running like a champ. Silent and cool. Highest CPU temp I've seen is 63 degrees, and that is during software decoding uncompressed 1080P MPEG-4 and DTSHD-MA. Temps run closer to 50 degrees with HW acceleration for video playback. Pros: Noctua NH-L12 cooler fits if you use the Intel no back plate mounting bolts with the AMD spacers and locking bars.

Cons: Not officially supported. I got the idea from reading reviews on the cooler and motherboard.

Overall Review: Dropped my CPU temps by about 10 degrees Celsius under load. (For load I am using handbrake to encode an unencrypted bluray to 720p h.264). Cooler does not block PCI-Express slot or RAM but the heatpipes do bump against the VR heatsink. Enough room above the Vengence LP Ram that they can be removed/replaced without removing the cooler.
