Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA804
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA804

Pros: Great overclocker with tight timings. As many other people have mentioned, the timings show up in the BIOS as 5-5-5-18 and at 1.8v so I changed it to 4-4-4-12 and only up to 2.0v with an increase from 800mhz to 900mhz with no problems whatsoever. I have had it up to 1033mhz volted up to 2.2v with the lower timings (4-4-4-12) and will definatelly go higher if you are willing to deal with the increased heat from the overvolt (2.3v) and higher timings (5-5-5-15), you can set this puppy to 1100mhz+

Cons: none

Overall Review: Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard, 2GB DDR800 Crucial Ballistix OC'd to 900mhz and downvolted to 2.0v (4-4-4-12), C2D e6320 1.86Ghz overclocked to 3.15Ghz and undervolted to 1.30v, EVGA 7600GT 560/1400 overclocked to 589/1444

Great fit!

Zoom 4312-00-68AF PC Card (PCMCIA) Type II fits Type II, III or Toshiba 16mm slot Bluetooth Adapter

Pros: Fits just right and it doesn't stick out very far. Corners are round and this helps conceal the fact that it is an add-on

Cons: The stack that came with the CD hangs my system for a few seconds every ten minutes of use or so. It actually makes my keyboard and mouse completelly non-responsive but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything else since the system continues doing what ever it was doing before becoming non-responsible to input. I veryfied it was the card by ejecting it for a little while to see if the problem goes away and it did. I tried reinstalling the stack and it did not fix the issue. I also tried downloading it and installing that stack but that did not fix it either. I removed the stack and installed the one that comes with XP but the problem is that the windows stack makes the green light on the card blink about twice a second which makes me worry it is overworking the card. I like the card and don't want to return it so I'm looking for a way to fix this issue. I'll post again if I find a fix.

Overall Review: Besides that, the card recognized my printer and I can print with no problems from my room which has two walls separating me and the printer. It also works beautifully with the headset I bought a few years ago for my phone.

No bueno

SYBA SD-ADA40001 SATA II To Compact Flash Adapter
SYBA SD-ADA40001 SATA II To Compact Flash Adapter

Pros: Good concept

Cons: Worked five out of every 10 restarts. Not only did it not work most of the time but it would cause some of my other SATA drives to not be recognized by the BIOS. They weren't even on the same channel!!! This makes me think it wasn't affecting the SATA channel but the south/northbridge itself. My system goes through POST is less than 4 seconds. However if this card was attached, it would take about a minute (and would cause other drives to not be recognized). It additionally messed up my overclock and would reset everything back to factory settings after a few failed restart attempts. Probably bad unit but worthless QA on their part... I'm not getting a replacement.

Overall Review: Newegg rocks!!!!!!!! I called for an RMA and I was told to throw the pice of junk in the trash and I would get my refund anyway. I LOVE NEWEGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never stop buying from them. EVER

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: It has many features in the bios that are great for overclocking. The stepping for increasing or decreasing the cpu voltage is very low and allows you to make moderate voltage changes. I have my ram overclocked from 800mhz to 1140 and my cpu from 1.86 to 3.32 (1.375v) with no problems. I have problems going higher that 3.32 but I'm almost positive it is due to my power supply since its a 430w and I'm overclocking pretty high including my video card. You can even increase the voltage supplied to the PCI-e slot to overvolt your video card. The processor is an e6320 and I'm on water so I should have no problems going up to 3.5... All the components seem very sturdy, specially the capacitors. They do not bend if you accidentally touch them. It is good for peace of mind that they use the all solid caps and has the ultra durable - ultra cool feature because my only worry when overclocking is the motherboard not lasting long.

Cons: SATA will not run on native mode so I can not use the hotplug feature. Whenever I enable it in the bios the system will reset once it gets to the windows load screen.

Overall Review: I'm sure a bios fix is coming soon that will fix my issue

Love it!

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA804

Pros: I have it at 5-5-5-15 with only 2.1 volts and 1180mhz (up from 800)... has been stable like this ever since I set it up like that a few weeks ago.

Pros: I just received my drive today and wanted to point out that it is actually compatible with DVD-RAM (this is not in the specs). I have never tried DVD-RAM but apparently it works just like a hard drive or floppy drive (the way it records and reads data). It is supposed to be way superior to any other recordable format but the disks are a little more expensive. Just think... you can stick a disk in and use your DVD drive as an extra (but small - 4 to 8GB) hard drive.

Cons: Loud
