Rtx doa
Pros: Fast machine, runs great with gtx 1080ti.
Cons: Rtx card was doa. Was shipped with gigabyte gaming oc 3070 and aparently those have a massive failure rate right now. Called support, got sent to voicemail. Sent an email after. Waiting to hear back
Overall Review: As with many of you, i ordered this machine specificly for the rtx card, such a shame it didnt even work.
uhh
Pros: it was cheap
Cons: dosnt seem to work, after installing it goes though the automatic channel scan, first 12 channels show up, the rest are fuzz untill channel 60 then after 65 goes back to fuzz, then once its done. channels 2-12 are all fuz.. and 60-65 arnt clear..
Update to last review
Pros: Still fast and power full.
Cons: Lost 1gb of vram on "second" gpu
Overall Review: On my last review i mentioned only having one display inside windows, this was a faulty DP to HDMI that was included. went out and purchased a new one and its all good. Since getting multiple displays working, the "second" gpu is only reporting 3GB vram. if the card was laid out with 4 1gb chips for each GPU I could see how i could of lost a chip, but its 8 512mb chips per GPU so loosing 2 at the same time is a bit of a stretch. my only guess is driver issues, because when tracking down the single display issue I had attempted to run the previous beta drivers before omega, and when those drivers were installed both GPU's reported 3GB. Either way this is still a heck of a card, and i'm sure the loss of 1gb vram is not a hardware issue, so i'm not to concerned about it, i'm sure once windows 10 is official and i move back to it ill regain it.
the case is good
Pros: its a case, plenty of room for a matx board, good cooling for an APU.
Cons: Power supply died within 3 days. one of the front usb ports doesn't work.
Overall Review: power supply died, not a big deal though as i had extra 400 watt power supplies in the garage, kind of expected it anyways, $30 for case and psu, didn't expect the psu to be all that good. disappointed that one of the front usb ports doesn't work, but its not to big of a deal i guess. again it was only $30
Plesent Surprise
Pros: Faster then Expected Lower Power Consumption
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: Got this to build a low powered gaming machine, was expecting to have to buy a second GPU to play what I wanted to play with this. I got impatient, couldn't find my 7 64bit disk so installed 32bit so only using a portion of my ram. but even this, this game loaded portal 2 and defaulted to highest settings and ran flawlessly. Built this machine as a "source box", no not a steam box as all i really want to play on this computer is source based games, and its doing it no problem without a secondary GPU. may add second GPU if i decide to play more damanding games
Its a Shelve
Pros: Its a Shelve
Cons: None
Overall Review: Its a shelve, not much else to say, like the brand because of the option of wire "drawers" available.
