Great worked out of the box
Pros: Was one of the few internal network cards that worked with vista 64 with no issues, many of the linksys ones I have purchased have been a nightmare, for the price, and ease of setup giving you the choice to just install the driver or the driver and the extra software for the wireless card"its not needed" but that alone giving me the choice was great. But all in all very impressed with this, great signal range, easy install.
Cons: none
Overall Review: put into a little shuttle budget machine I built for someone. Great buy, and one of the few that says its compatabile with xp/vista 32/64
Do Not Buy......
Pros: Feels nice on your head, lots of options.... when it works...
Cons: Its soundcard goes out, starts to crackle, or cuts out fully RAZER stated in Email there is no solution for this as of yet....Push to talk on vent due to this unit stops working... Support will tell you to update your os, etc even though you have fully updated it, dnloaded the hot fixes"that do not apply to your system because you already have sp2 of vista". For the price you paid it should just work.... the speaker surround options bug out where you can tweak each one, just start blinking sparatically.... response email below and nothing back from them I have a 150 dollar piece of junk that they are doing nothing about.... I even replyed to that email and its been over a week notta, dont buy...
Overall Review: Razer and Microsoft are aware of intermittent issues that may occur with the Razer Megalodon and users of certain Vista 64 bit systems. The most common issue will be your audio or your microphone cutting out. We are working hard to find an answer to this intermittent problem and hope to have a solution in the very near future. We know this issue is very frustrating for you and we are working hard to find the solution. We ask kindly for your patience as we try to remedy this issue for any of the affected users. Megalodon users with other types of updated operating systems are not affected by this issue. If you are using a Megalodon and are having similar issues please be sure your operating system has all the available updates installed. Vista users want to make sure that Service Pack 2 (SP2) has been installed on their computers. If you are in need of further assistance with your Megalodon please contact us at the links below and we will be happy to assist you. Best Regar
8000mhz 2x24 cannot believe they posted and I got into windows!
Pros: Just using the xmp profile on an z790 Apex Encore on a 13900k with SP Scores of P:115 E:91 IMC:83 this kit made it past post and into windows, let me browse the web but that is about it, I know I could get them to work just requires me dumping more voltage into them and slowly raising my VQQD/IMC voltages a little more close to the safe limit. Easy to downclock to 7200mhz cl34 stable. Will be tweaking them and working on 7200mhz cl30 or cl28. Defiantly an awesome kit.
Cons: 7200mhz cl34 2x24 is not an option for this kit, and you cannot find 7200mhz cl34 2x16 of the XTREEM ARGB/Black Anywhere still.
Overall Review: If you are thinking about getting them and have a higher end board I say go for it. By higher end board I mean one like the Apex/Apex Encore. They look sharp in a build that is for sure, and I will say they are better constructed and cooler looking. Their competitors that have kits this fast that will not even post on a premium board. I really cannot take away an egg, not every board and or cpu is perfect then there are other factors involved.
Runs amazing and in XMP if you buy the right board.
Pros: Runs in XMP out of the box on an ASUS TUF Z790 DDR5, ASUS Rog Strix Z790-E"best memory lead layout of asus's 4 dimm boards, and a Maximus Apex Z790. Paired up with a 13th gen K/KS and even a KF that just didn't make the K cut due to its igpu being faulty. Memory lead layout of board choice is important. You get the right board it runs flawlessly and stable in xmp and its advertised speeds/clocks.
Cons: Reviewers, to those who listen to those reviewers as gospel this kit is avoided, the right motherboards with a good memory lead layout on a z790 is required with a K/KS/KF"if the KF was made a KF just for its igpu being faulty".
Overall Review: I would defiantly buy this again without thinking twice. If you are thinking about it, be sure to do your homework. Remember 13th gen K/KS/KF cpu, the right z790 board and its smooth sailing. Click XMP or manually put in the timings if that is how you want to do it and go, it's that easy. It's also at the right speed and cl that it muscles past the limitations of DDR5 in gear 2, what does that mean to you as a gamer? Well your higher tier 30 and 40 series cards will be fed data fast enough that means your 2% low FPS numbers will not be butchered with lag of frames dropping 15-30 FPS randomly as the GPU is forced to wait for data.
Great Motherboard do not hesitate.
Pros: Well after owning this motherboard for a bit I cannot say anything bad about it. Per an ASUS Engineer it has the best memory lead layout of all the 4 dimm ASUS z790 boards, with a 13th gen K cpu it will run 2x16 7200mhz CL34 G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB ram no issues and flawless. The board works great with SignalRGB, Bios is solid. I have to say It's an all-around great board for the price point and worth spending the little extra money over the competition. I am updating and submitting my review for the ASUS 90 day extended warranty.
Cons: I wish it had more bios features like being able to see your IMC SP score in the bios so you have an idea of around what is the fastest DDR5 you can get past 7200mhz, to what you can get away with on a 4x16 or 4x32 DDR5 kit.
Overall Review: I would say get it, do not even think twice, its a great product.
All I can say is amazing it outperforms my EK Elite 360!
Pros: Keeps my cpu in the 50-60c range while gaming and in the 70's to low 80's in benches. I didn't expect it to really out perform my EK Elite D-RGB 360. If you are going to buy an AIO this is the one to get. Do not even waste your time or money on the pigs with lipsticks aka Asetek or CoolIT leased designs or clones. EKWB AIO's with water cooling components>All the other AIO's on the market. Sadly Neweggs upload photo system wont let me upload it in CP 2077 no core goes over 66c, my other games that are not as intensive 40-55c.
Overall Review: Buy it, I would buy it again and not think twice.
This AIO spanks my EK Elite 360
If you are thinking about it get it, like all of EK's top AIO units they use their actual water cooling kit pumps to radiators. Unlike the pigs with lipstick that are leased designs from COOLIT and Asetek. If you want something that can cool a 13900k or KF or KS this is the AIO you need. Period. You can drop temps if you apply IC Diamon 24 by a good deal over its pre applied stock tim.
