Pros: Good power, small design, portable fan
Cons: none
Overall Review: The fan works exactly as described and I don't see a single problem with it. You can adjust the fan speed and the angle at which the fan blows. If you don't think it has enough power, then you should invest in a wall outlet fan!
Lasted 3 months
Pros: Big fan, quiet.
Cons: Lasted 3 months, then died.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for I guess. Worked great... until it died for no reason after just 3 months.
Solid for the price, BUT...
Pros: For the price ($100), the laptops are fine for my kids to use for school. You know what you are getting when you pay $100 for a laptop, so no surprises with the performance.
Cons: Windows will NOT update. I've tried everything in the Microsoft knowledge base to fix it, and neither one of the laptops will do ANY updates. You can't even install them manually. I have a feeling these aren't legit copies of Windows, and the seller disabled updates somewhere that I cannot find.
Overall Review: The laptop itself is solid, but like I said, I have a feeling this isn't a genuine copy of Windows given the $100 price I paid for a refurbished laptop. If you don't care about ever getting a security update for windows or office, then it is a decent value.
Pros: Great speed and it doesn't run too hot
Cons: Installs at 800 instead of the 1066, but I guess that is expected.
Pros: Solid sound, easy setup, and the bass is good for the price.
Cons: The headphone jack stopped functioning after about 6 months.
Overall Review: Solid set up speakers for under $100.
Shady
I bought 2 laptops from this seller on Black Friday, Lenovo refurbished laptops that were SUPPOSED to have legit copies of Windows 7 on them. The laptop themselves work fine, and there were no surprises from a $100 refurb laptop. BUT, when I tried to update Windows and Office (that I put on), I found that neither laptop will perform ANY update. Not through Windows update, nor by downloading and installing them manually. This is almost always from pirated copies of Windows where the person disabled the updates somewhere either in the computer management, or the registry somewhere. The machines were fine, but in order for me to update these laptops I would have to install a fresh copy of windows on them... which pretty much is equal to the amount I paid for them to start with!
