Good card, but not the ultimate

MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N460GTX CYCLONE 1GD5/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N460GTX CYCLONE 1GD5/OC

Pros: Runs games pretty well, quiet for normal use and stays in the mid 30 degree range when not under heavy use. Bought this on recommendation on the 460's for SC2.

Cons: Gets bogged down in SC2 for a heavy battle. When there's a few hundred troops on screen frame rate will drop into the 20's and the fan runs full speed where it gets noisy and temps climb toward 50-60 degrees. Stock setup, AA is not forced on.

Overall Review: System: *Cooler Master Storm Scout case, additional 120mm side fan on graphics card area and additional 120mm fan front top behind empty 5.25" bays *MSI P55A-GD65 mb *i5-760, running at 3.3ghz due to 160fsb for 1600mhz memory *Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cpu cooler (30 degrees idle, 58 degrees full load prime95) *4gb gskill ripjaws 1600, running as XMP *Two samsung 320gb F4's in raid 0 Temps for a 25 degree ambient room temp.

Lasted about 4 hours

Logitech G15 2-Tone 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Logitech G15 2-Tone 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Concept?

Cons: LCD screen went bad after a few hours. Contrast dimmed and is now unreadable. Flashes bright randomly where you can read things again for a few seconds but just to trick you. Contrast adjustment in software has no effect. You can dim the back-light, but you're just dimming a blank or very low contrast screen.

Overall Review: RMA shipping is expensive. Kills any deal.

Glorious case

Cooler Master Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: * Red LEDs (my preference) * Cable routing was tight, but with my Antec 620W and MSI P55A-GD65 I managed to route every wire behind the MB. This resulted in a very clean looking build * 212Plus cooler fit fine, but cant' use upper 120mm side fan with it. * Case fans are nice and quiet * 4 front USB is awesome, along with front ESATA * Handle is brilliant, found myself using it all the time when setting up and moving it around. * Adding only an additional 120mm side fan, it keeps my I5-760/GTX460 setup nice and cool.

Cons: * Wires for front USB connector aren't black (I sleeved them, but should have already been black) * Difficult to plug in side mounted SATA cables on my particular motherboard * Need 90 degree SATA cables for sideways mounted drive, uncomfortable with the bends required of regular SATA cables

Overall Review: Compared to a friend's Antec 900, I would buy this case. CM should make a mount that will convert three unused front 5.25" bays to a 120mm fan holder. Great spot up there for a fan and I only use one optical drive that's basically just for OS/Game installs.

Really nice

Logitech G500 Black Chrome 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech G500 Black Chrome 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: * 5 DPI levels... I didn't realize how much I'd like this. The software lets you pick a custom DPI for each level as well * Very comfortable, shaped well for how I hold a mouse * Glides effortlessly * Red LEDs match my case * Clickless scrolling + SmoothScroll extension for Chrome makes for some nice web browsing, and then the clicking scroll for games, best of both worlds Works well on my rocketfish hard metal mouse pad.

Cons: The design on the back of the mouse is a little less than appealing, would have preferred just a solid color, but that's just me.

Overall Review: Wouldn't hesitate to buy again, was everything I was looking for.

Too noisy

XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1252 120mm Red LED Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included
XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1252 120mm Red LED Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included

Pros: Nice red glow, nice wire loom on the wires

Cons: VERY noisy. Easily the loudest thing in my case, the fans in my Cooler Master Storm Scout case are dead silent in comparison. Worse than any 80mm fan I've had in older cases.

Overall Review: I have no idea why someone would want such a loud fan.

Too early to tell. May not have SLI support.

MSI P55A-GD65 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI P55A-GD65 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Seems high quality. Front audio hookup is in the right place and not under a card slot like some others.

Cons: No evidence in manual, box, or website of SLI support. What gives? NewEgg's features clearly shows SLI support. Sideways SATA ports are the worst idea in motherboard design yet.

Overall Review: Need clarification on SLI.
