Fast processor
Pros: -Seems very fast -Stays cool
Cons: -No cons
Overall Review: I'm very happy with this processor. I used it in my first computer build, so I don't really have much else to compare it to. But everything powered up and worked the first time I turned on the computer. This CPU is more than enough for me as a mechanical engineering student (CAD program and various other simulators). The other equipment used in the build was: Asrock Z270M Extreme 4 motherboard (no issues, the motherboard worked immediately with this CPU) Team Elite 2x4GB RAM Geforce GTX 750 Ti (second hand, used) Adata 480GB SSD DIYPC Cuboid case EVGA 80+ bronze power supply Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo 5/5 eggs, I would buy it again.
Adata M.2 SSD
Pros: - Inexpensive - Fast
Cons: -None
Overall Review: This was a cheap ($62) way to try out the M.2 PCIe form factor. I had Windows 10 installed on a SATA III SSD before, and moving to this was a modest improvement in load time. I've read that larger capacity M.2s are faster than small ones, so maybe a larger M.2 would provide even quicker load times, but that is unknown for me at this point. Overall I'm happy and would gladly buy this again for an OS. I was surprised how small it was, even though the physical size is right in the title (22mm x 80mm). Perhaps I'm not quite accustomed to the metric system yet.
Really nice keyboard
Pros: -That mechanical click! -The red is subtly nice, not overly flamboyant
Cons: -No cons
Overall Review: The sound is fantastic. The feel is fantastic. I like everything about this keyboard. The USB slot is a nice feature. 5/5 eggs, I would buy it again.
Nice power supply
Pros: -It works well -Not loud
Cons: -No cons
Overall Review: I used this power supply for my first build, so unfortunately I don't have much to compare it to. But it seems to work well, and it's quiet. It has enough power for the i5 7500 CPU, 8GB RAM, and the Geforce GTX750Ti video card I used. 5/5 eggs, I would definitely buy it again.
Great looking and functional case
Pros: -Looks great! -Lots of room for cables
Cons: -No cons
Overall Review: This is a great looking computer case. I used it for my first build, and I couldn't be happier with the form and function of the Cuboid case. The red LEDs look nice, and the windows show off any goodies you have inside. It fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo with room to spare. It also fit a Geforce GTX 750 Ti nicely. The SD card reader is a nice feature. The fans seem a little cheap as others have mentioned, but it's a $50 case. Overall it has everything I wanted for a reasonable price. 5/5 eggs, I would buy it again.
Great looking cooling solution
Pros: -Looks GREAT! -Seems to work well
Cons: -Instructions are pretty vague
Overall Review: This was used in my first PC build, and to be honest it was more for looks than for any perceived extra cooling need. But it does keep everything nice and cool in the case too. The processor is a stock i5 7500 so not trying to keep an overclocked CPU cool. But with a mail in rebate it was a cheap enough aesthetic upgrade I could justify. As a side note, the box has a sticker that indicated it was compatible with the 1151 Intel socket. Well it is, but the instructions (as of February 2017) omit any mention of the 1151 socket. The installation was very similar to the 1150 socket, which the instructions are BARELY adequate for. As a first time computer builder, this was a little frustrating. However there are a lot of helpful Youtube videos and other online instructions available. Other than the lousy instructions, this is a great product that looks nice. 5/5 eggs, I would buy it again.
