Good little card

XFX Radeon HD 4850 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card HD-485X-ZNFC
XFX Radeon HD 4850 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card HD-485X-ZNFC

Pros: Cost. Paid $47 after promo code and MIR. Quite powerful even though its roughly 3 year old Tech. Solid little upgrade from an 8800GT. Runs Oblivion really well at 1680x1050, 2x AA forced through CCC, all other settings at max. Unless you game at a higher resolution, or really NEED DX11 then this is a fantastic card for that price!

Cons: Fan is a tad loud, not really distracting, but a bit noticeable. Idle temps right around 41 in my cheap little Rosewill case.

Overall Review: This card DOES allow fan speed adjustment through MSI Afterburner. I bumped up the profile just a bit, brought gaming temps down from 71 max to around 63 max. No noticeable increase in noise, unless you turn the sound off and your house is dead silent :D Idle temps right around 41 in my cheap little Rosewill case, much cooler than the ~70 degree idle that the 8800GT was putting out.

Avoid this one.

Pros: 32" Size is awesome combined with 2560x1440 resolution. Perfect PPI in my opinion. Build quality is nice, stand is great. USB 3.0 hub is a nice feature

Cons: The Ghosting on this display makes it nearly unusable for just about anything. Very noticeable even when watching video. Gaming is out of the question.

Overall Review: Amazing to me that Acer would put their name on this monitor! They do have some very nice products, and most of their monitors are great. Avoid this one like the plague though.

Great value

ASRock 970 PRO3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Price. Crossfire capable. Plenty of USB ports. Bios compatible with AM3+ out of the box.

Cons: None yet at this price point.

Overall Review: Purchased in a combo with the FX-6300. Bios was ready for the AM3+ cpu out of the box. Have it running at 10% oc via the auto oc in the bios.

Outstanding!

Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Supports: E-ATX & XL-ATX, 4 Dual-Speed Fans, 10 Expansion Slots
Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Supports: E-ATX & XL-ATX, 4 Dual-Speed Fans, 10 Expansion Slots

Pros: Price: This case is an INCREDIBLE VALUE! Air flow. The 3) 230mm fans really move lots of air. Temps: My old case (P182) would not allow sufficient airflow for my SLI'd 570's. This case allows for stock fan profiles on the GPU's, and cooler temps. Interior volume: Lots of space for multi GPU setups, plenty of room behind the mobo for wiring. Aesthetics: I know this is a subjective thing, but this is a good looking case. Much cleaner/slicker looking than other cases in its class (Haf X, Haf 932, etc.) Quiet: Yes, you can hear the fans. But, large fans are not annoying to the ears like small fans are. In my case, much quieter than my old case with the GPU fans ramped up.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Really, really happy with my Rosewill case. Simply a great case at a great price.

Great card

Galaxy GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 57NKH3HS4GXK

Pros: Cost. $269 after MIR makes it by far the cheapest 570 Good thermal cooling, idle temps in the 20's-gaming temps in the 60's Temps only slightly higher when used in SLI-idle in the 30's, gaming 65-70 for both cards with a bit of fan tweaking. Plenty of power to run just about anything at 1080p as a single card, and most everything @ 5760x1080 when SLI'd Decent overclocker. I run mine at 850 core with 1050 voltage, very stable. Have not tried to go any higher.

Cons: Plastic case is a bit flimsy, so you will not be able to hammer nails with it. Not as quiet as some of the other custom coolers, but doesn't cost as much not really much of a con.

Great discount media

memorex 8.5GB 8X DVD+R DL 50 Packs Spindle Disc Model 05732
memorex 8.5GB 8X DVD+R DL 50 Packs Spindle Disc Model 05732

Pros: Works great for Xbox 360 backups. I used up my first 50 pack with zero coasters, all were used for X360 games. Using a Liteon IDE burner, burning at max speed (8x max, usually averages around 6x) using either Xbox Backup Creator with the XBC burn engine, or burning directly with ImageBurn. Even works great with newer AP25 games like NFS: Hot Pursuit. Of course, make sure to run all games through ABGX to patch them correctly.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Got another 50 yesterday for $25 shipped. Thanks NewEgg!
