Most Favorable Review

Great processor for the price.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400 - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Socket AM2 65W black edition Processor - ADO5400DSWOF

Pros: Exceptional processor for what you pay, and I even bought it back when it was still around $80. Fantastic value.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Overclocked it to 3.0ghz via the unlocked multiplier right out of the box and haven't looked back since. Rock solid.

Unbelievable quality!

CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-620HX 620 W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Pros: Exceptional build quality (even the packaging!). Modular format is very convenient. Cools itself very well and does not run anywhere near hot, even under heavy load (and if it does, it cools off very quickly). Fan is whisper quiet.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Overall Review: Came with a brand sticker. Gotta have that bling, right?

Great card for the price!

EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 01G-P3-1155-TR

Pros: Very quiet idle fan noise. Great cooling when fan is manually cranked up. 1GB of VRAM lets you run GTA4 @ 1680x1050 with high textures and other greater settings (although this is nowhere near powerful enough to comfortably play that shoddy port of a game maxed).

Cons: Honestly not that much faster than my old EVGA 8800GT/9800GT. Probably an increment of about 30% greater speed.

Overall Review: Much larger than I was expecting, but still fit with no problem in a Lian Li PC-60BPLUSII case--although a tad snug next to its side-mounted fan.

Excellent case!

LIAN LI PC-60BPLUSII Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-60BPLUSII Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Superb build quality and fit and finish. Slick exterior and a large interior with plenty of room to move around cables and generally tinker with small details. Removable motherboard tray is so much more than that--nearly an entire quarter of the case slides out with the "tray." A mounted Zalman 9500 cleared the frame with easily a quarter inch to spare. Plenty of --fans, and in great positions--produce exceptional airflow.

Cons: Wrong screws packaged in same bag with motherboard stand-offs; led to stripping out a few and needing to wrench them out the old fashioned way--ruined one ATX mount point permanently. Doesn't use standard screws for essentially anything: all used are much smaller and/or thumb screws (which are very finicky about which exact they must be at before they will even start going in). Side panels are durable, yet flimsy--but more than that, they don't fit all that tightly (no vibration yet, though). Freshly installed aftermarket 120mm fans cause entire case to vibrate at any increment above 1000RPM, depsite being installed precisely.

Overall Review: Did not even start up case with stock fans; replaced both 80's and 120's with Scythe variants, all connected to and modulated by a KM-02 controller by the same maker. With fans set to half speeds, case is whisper quiet, and still moves plenty of air for any idle or moderately intensive operations.

Great fans!

Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120mm Case Fan
Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120mm Case Fan

Pros: Excellent airflow, build, and quality.

Cons: Some what noisy at full speed, but I was expecting that. See below.

Overall Review: Critisizing the noise these fans make is pointless as I have them connected to a Scythe KM-02 controller. When running them at around 900RPM, they're essentially silent yet still move plenty of air for regular, everyday computing.

Reliable, cheap ink.

Pros: Bought this ink when it was on sale for real cheap. Relatively good longevity and quality.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: A decent ink, although the price has inflated dramatically to what I used to pay for it.
