Good value
Pros: Price. Compact. I purchased this to upgrade the video card in my Shuttle HTPC that wasn't acting nicely with an upgrade to Win 8. I didn't need a "gamer" card, just one that was compact enough for my case, displayed Blu-ray well through a HDMI connection, and maybe able to play a few games as well. Worked well out of the box, and I'm quite happy with it. Good budget card.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: This was not purchased for my main machine, where most of my gaming is done....so I can't elaborate on how well it will do with new or semi recent games. GREAT VALUE.
Nothing good to say
Pros: NONE
Cons: My first attempt to review this item was either rejected or deleted due to my overly strong opinions about it. I will be nicer now. Nothing about the item worked, and was damaged upon arrival due to shipping techniques of fulfillment seller.
Overall Review: Stay away. Run away!
A little pricey, but works well
Pros: Compatibility Longevity
Cons: Price
Overall Review: What can I say? Popped them on the board, and was recognized at speed instantly. I've never had a problem using GSkill.
Great cpu
Pros: Fast. Dependable. No issues. I'm not an over-clocker, so all I can say is it runs smooth, and relatively cool compared to earlier versions I have owned (Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge).
Cons: Price
Overall Review: Ever since multi core chips arrived, I have insisted on nothing but Intel chips. AMD had it's glory day with the Athlon XP line, but quickly lost ground in the multi core battle. Having built Intel and AMD machines (for customers), I can honestly say Intel is FAR superior with less game compatibility issues, and less crashes than AMD based chips. The only possible benefit I could ever really see buying an AMD is price. As long as I can afford Intel.....Intel it will be.
Great fans for the buck
Pros: Truth in advertising. Great price. If anything, these are actually QUIETER than the 16dBA advertised. I really can't tell the sound level difference between these, and Noctua's I have purchased in the past.
Cons: Looked all over, but can't find one.
Overall Review: Finally, an affordable, quality alternative to some of the higher priced (and uglier) fans that cost twice as much.
Nice writable discs
Pros: Burns at 10X with my writer. Print is fully dry and does not smudge within seconds of printing. No burn errors. I have NEVER had a bad burn with RiData discs.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: My thoughts on the couple folks that got so many coasters is that maybe their BURNER is to blame? Or a firmware update needed? My Lite-On has never burned a bad disc, using even the cheapest media. The only difference I've ever seen between premium and bargain Blu-Ray media is write speed, with the bargain stuff writing AT media speed and premium being able to be written quite a bit faster than advertised speed.
Poor shipping quality
No box used shipping delicate item, driver disc looks like it was destroyed on purpose. Disc was wedged in between bracket and card reader without so much as a sleeve for disc. Disc was scratched and scarred WAY beyond readability. Device dirty.
