Fast and Quiet

Pros: Fast - Quiet
Cons: None yet. It has a five year warranty. WD drives are usually pretty good.
Overall Review: I had a bad experience with one of the 1.5 TB "Green" drives a while back, but WD replaced it quickly. The old MAXTOR drives were built like tanks. I still have two of them that are now 12 years old (as of 09/14). No defects whatsoever. Still reads perfectly and tests perfectly after all these years. :)
Dead after 21 months

Pros: Huge capacity
Cons: Capacity doesn't matter if the drive dies a premature death. When I register my drive, the registration data stated a three year warranty. WD is sending me another drive. This one has cut a year off of my warranty. Not only do I have to go through the hassle of installing and setting up a new drive, I am losing a year of my warranty. No more WD Green drives for me. Burn me once, shame on you Burn me twice, shame on me.
Overall Review: This was my first "big" drive. It is also the first "Green" drive I have purchased. It will be the last. Terrible experience.
Works Great on Windows 7 and 10

Pros: Simple to use. Plug and play (at least it was for me).
Cons: It would be nice if the USB cord was a longer.
Overall Review: This little drive works great as long as I use DVDs and CDs that are compatible with the drive. Many people post bad reviews simply because they do not take the time to find a disk that will work with the drive they are using. The Verbatim, Maxell, and Memorex disks that I have used have worked flawlessly.
Inexpensive Solution

Pros: It's tiny. I have been using one for a few years now and it has never failed me. It works. I have purchased, and given away, a great number of these little pucks. The instructions are clear and installation was easy. Any drivers needed for Windows is on the tiny disk supplied with the puck. I have been using these adapters now for a while now and I can't find any reason to not continue to buy them. I give them away to people who buy computers from me. I try to contact folks from time to time to make sure all is well, and everyone has been happy with this little puck.
Cons: None. Like I said: It works.
Overall Review: The Internet connection I am working from is 60down and 4 up. The router is a 150N. The 150N is fine for what I do. One computer is direct, the rest are wireless (only one at a time) The speed is puzzling. It usually gets to a 14.5 connection rate and that's it. If I use a N300 adapter, the rate goes as high as 58. The speed isn't a big problem, its just a bit strange. Movies and live streaming work just as well with this adapter as with a more expensive adapter that I have on another machine. I am thinking THAT one was a waste of money. :) This is a great buy for an adapter that works as well as this one does. I have seen others that are less expensive, but once you find something that works, you tend to stick with it. This works.
Very Lightweight

Pros: Good communication, and It works - for now. That alone gets it three stars.
Cons: This entire drive weighs only 1.3 ounces. The case for the inner workings is made from a very thin plastic and flexes very easily. The one I received is warped, but the drive seems to work. It was shipped in a display box inside a thin bubble wrap envelope. I am amazed that it got here without being destroyed. It did get warped somewhere along the line though. -2 stars
Overall Review: I ordered on the 10th of March and received the drive on the 31st of March. I can't understand why some Chinese shippers can get things to me in two weeks and others take so long. The time is not a big issue with this drive as I didn't need it for anything special. I mention it only because if you need something very soon, you need to order from a U.S. seller. I would probably order from this seller again if the drive had not arrived warped.
2nd battery was dead as a doornail

Pros: Inexpensive. Apparently, they are also just cheap batteries.
Cons: The first battery from the first strip had a very low charge, but it charged up. The second battery that I removed from the first strip was dead as a door nail. This doesn't bode well. I seem to be having some really bad luck buying things from Newegg these days.
Overall Review: I suppose that if you buy a 30cent battery, you are definitely going to get a 30 cent battery.
29 Days from order to arrival
I ordered on March 6 and received the shipment on April 3. That's a bit too much. I understand that China is a long way from where I live, but I have ordered a great many things from other Chinese and Honk Kong sellers and have always received shipments within two weeks. The two adapters that I received in this order are now unneeded as I had to purchase them elsewhere because it took so long to get them. I suppose I have a couple of spares now that I will never use. I will not be ordering anything else from this seller.
