Worked great w/ GTX 750 ti

StarTech.com DP2DVI2 DisplayPort To DVI Adapter - Passive - 1080p - DP to DVI - Display Port to DVI-D Adapter
StarTech.com DP2DVI2 DisplayPort To DVI Adapter - Passive - 1080p - DP to DVI - Display Port to DVI-D Adapter

Pros: Not too expensive, works with EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW w/ ACX, Seems well put together, DVI end accepts DVI-I cables

Cons: None

Overall Review: I purchased this for a dual 24" monitor setup. Both monitors are Sceptre X24WG's and have DVI-I or VGA inputs only. I run them at the native resolution of 1920 x 1200. The EVGA GTX 750 Ti has only one DVI output to go along with an HDMI and a DisplayPort output. I purchased this to run the second screen with the DP output. Plugged it in, installed the drivers for the new card and it worked. Couldn’t have been much easier. I have DVI-I cables. I've seen adaptors that can only accept a DVI-D cable. This adaptor will allow you to use a DVI-I it that is what you have.

Not 100% sure this is "Grade A"

Apple iPad Air 2 MH2N2LL/A Apple A8X 1.50 GHz 64 GB Flash Storage 9.7" 2048 x 1536 Grade B Tablet (Wi-Fi + Cellular) iOS Silver

Pros: - It seems to work fine, battery life is about the same as another iPad Air 2 I have - Came with charger and charging cable

Cons: - "Grade A", I don't think so. - Blemishes on the corners and screen. Scratch on the back. - Battery was completely drained when received.

Overall Review: As mentioned in the comments, this is not a "Grade A" refurbished product based on what I received and what my understanding of Grade A is. Grade A Should be free of blemishes. This iPad was not. The Back: Has some minor scratches and one very noticeable scratch on the upper right corner. The scratch is not a gouge. The surface is still smooth. It's on the back so this does not bother me much. The Sides and Corners: The unit I received was badly dropped on one corner. The metal is actually damaged and gouged. The other three corners have smaller more acceptable marks. These items do not affect functionality but they are very noticeable to me. This iPad definitely was not protected by a case. The Screen: It looks like the screen was replaced. Most likely due to damage from a drop to the corner. There are several tiny chips in the screen and a very slight scratch. The white paint, behind the glass and just below the Home Button looks like it was scraped off. Maybe from being removed for repair but that is just speculation. I can live with these issues but I would not expect them on a "Grade A" refurbished item. There were also 2 larger blemishes on the screen. It looked like bubbles under a screen protector but there was no screen protector. After trying to figure out what this was, I finally used some rubbing alcohol to clean the screen and the bubbles went away. No harm but again, I don't expect to clean a refurb out of the box. The Battery: The battery was completely depleted when I plugged the iPad in. I'm hoping this didn't damage the battery. It took around 4 hours to charge fully. So far the battery life seems the same as another iPad Air 2 I have. I hope it stays that way. The Cameras: Both cameras are working just fine. Software and Usability: The iPad came with iOS 10. I can't remember the exact version. I upgraded to iOS 11.0.2 immediately after the battery was fully charged. Functionally it seems just fine. It works like an iPad should based on my limited use. Summary: Considering I purchased this as a daily special and it had a rebate, the price was more in line with a Grade B product. I did take 2 eggs off because of the blemishes and what I feel is a misrepresentation of "Grade A". Grade A should not have an obvious drop mark on it or a very noticeable scratch. I wish I could attach some photos. I will be keeping this iPad and adding a screen protector and a case for protection. Would I recommend buying this refurbished iPad... I can't say yes or no. I'd say buyer beware. You might not get what is expected from a "Grade A" refurbished product.

Wouldn't Run at Advertised Speeds on one MB but did on another

Pros: - Looks great - Decent price - Nice advertised speeds - Works with ASUS Armory Crate & Aura

Cons: - Wouldn't work in the intended PC at advertised speeds using DOCP - Might be picky about the motherboard you install them in

Overall Review: Quick reply: I like the look of the Trident Zs and use them in a few PCs. These sticks had issues in an ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Pro motherboard but worked fine in an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero MB. I feel they can be picky about the machine they are installed in and this is why I only gave them 3 stars. Long reply: I've used G.Skill Trident Z's in 3 builds to date. The first set (DDR4 3200) would never run with 4 sticks at the advertised speeds so I run them at the stock MB settings. That was with a Ryzen 2700x on an ASUS TUF Gaming x470 motherboard. I had read this is a common issue with this MB and chipset. The second set (DDR4 3600) works perfectly on an ASUS ROG Crosshair Hero VIII with a Ryzen 3900x using DOCP settings and Im very happy with them. The system these sticks were intended for has a Ryzen 5800x in a TUF Gaming B550 Pro motherboard. Setting the timings using DOCP, the PC would not boot. The MB would reset to base timings. I did try a little tweaking and was able to get the sticks to work at the advertised speeds with a slight underclock (1.30v). However, Im always wary doing something like this despite it passing the tests I performed. I had another PC on my workbench with an ASUS Crosshair VIII Dark Hero and Crucial Ballistix RAM sticks with similar specs. I decided to swap the sticks. The Ballistix worked perfectly in the TUF B550 MB using DOCP. The G. Skills also worked perfectly in the ROG Black MB so I left them there. In the end I have 2 PCs that are working but I was lucky to have extra parts to do some testing and swapping with this time. Based on my experiences, my recommendation is to be careful with the Trident Zs. They seem to work fine in higher end ASUS motherboards but not so great in the mid-lower-level ones. Unfortunately, I havent tried other brands so I cant comment beyond the ASUS boards Ive mentioned.

Nekteck LED Floor Lamp, Bright Lighting Torchiere Floor Lamps for Living Rooms, Bedrooms and Office with Modern Design and Touch Control Tall Standing Pole Light, 30w/2000LM, 3000K Warm White
Nekteck LED Floor Lamp, Bright Lighting Torchiere Floor Lamps for Living Rooms, Bedrooms and Office with Modern Design and Touch Control Tall Standing Pole Light, 30w/2000LM, 3000K Warm White

Pros: Quite Bright, Inexpensive, Minimalist, Uses only 30w for 300w of comparable halogen light

Cons: Some design quirks. Touch sensitive dimming

Overall Review: I like this lamp so far. It's tall and sleek. It puts out a good amount of bright light. At 3000k it has whiter light than the halogen fixture it’s replacing but it's not so white that you feel you are in a laboratory. I like the tilting top. It helps direct the light in the room and keep some glare off the TV. It also runs much cooler than the old halogen fixture while putting out an almost identical amount of light. As for the quirks... The power cord comes out of the bottom of the pole. There is a hole and a groove in the base that makes it look like it should run under the base, but the wire sticks out the side of the pole. Would have been cleaner if it went thru the base. Additionally, the plug is on the large size. The power supply is built into the plug not the base so it can block outlets on a receptacle or power strip. I'm not a fan of the touch sensitive dimming. I prefer the old-fashioned twist knob dimmer on my old torchier. At least it has a mechanical on/off switch. Finally, the old halogen fixture has a partially translucent bottom under the lamp area allowing some soft light to shine down. That would have been nice on this fixture as well. I'm being nit-picky with the quirks. I've had that old halogen lamp for over 25 years and I'm very used to it. Unfortunately, it is on it's last legs and I needed a replacement. This fits the bill. I'm hoping I'll get a good 20 years out of this one as well.

It works...

Coboc CL-AD-DP2DVI-6-BK 6 inch DisplayPort to DVI Passive Adapter Converter,Gold Plated,Black -DP to DVI - 1920 x 1200 Resolution

Pros: I plugged it in and it worked just fine. Can't ask for more.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I wanted to hook up an older monitor to a new video card. The old monitor had VGA and DVI ports. The video card had DP, HDMI and USB C so I needed an adaptor. This one fit the bill and worked as expected.
