Good memory after tweaking.
Pros: Very good memory, with all DDR3 memory that runs at this speed you might need to tweak your settings some. With running this I had to bump the voltage up a bit to 1.55 to get it 100% stable at advertised timings and speed. Why stop their since your overclocking anyhow, bumped the voltage up to 1.6 and now have it 100% stable with the same timings at 2400MHz.
Cons: People that rate things and give their self a high tech rating and can't get this memory to work need to learn a few things then write another review. That is the major drawback of reviews on this site, I would say 90% of the bad reviews are for installation error or just not knowing how things work. For instance this memory when your motherboard says this then some tweaking may be required for anything with the * by it. DDR3 3200*(*O.C.)/ 3100*/ 3000*/ 2933*/ 2800*/ 2666*/ 2600*/ 2400*/ 2200*/ 2133*/ 2000*/ 1866*/ 1600/ 1333
First AMD card and last
Pros: None
Cons: The bottom DVI slot is dead will not show anything on monitor. Bios switch was already set to high, no rebate card, the box had already been opened. This is the fault of Newegg to send me a open box that they already had a RMA on this is my last purchase from them.
Seasonic.
Pros: It's a Seasonic so you get the quality you would expect.
Cons: Power cables would be the largest drawback. The PCI-E cables are 2 connectors jumped off one cable (What were you thinking their Sesonic?) The connected cables are regular sleeved, the modular cables are flat, and just black, if your using a case with a side window you not really going to like the looks. ( Again what were you thinking their?)
Great Motherboard.
Pros: Paired with a i7 4790K processor and 16GB of 2133 memory, everything works as intended not a single problem. I have no problems with the placement of the SATA connectors and yes you can still plug them in with the video card installed (GTX 980) For the people that complained about the M.2 SSD killing the 2 SATA ports you really need to do some research before you complain about things this is the same on all the Z97 boards.
Cons: Only one small con it puts the Vcore volts a bit higher than needed. (lower it in BIOS)
Update from my RMA
Pros: 100% working as intended, great RMA from Newegg only took 7 days total, I mailed it on Tuesday and recived the new one back the next Tuesday.
Cons: Had to do the first RMA.
Make Sure it's right for you!
Pros: Good looking and good quality. Works just fine but make sure it is long enough for your use, I new from other reviews how long the actual cable was.
Cons: Measuring just the cable itself 8 1/4 inches.
