Pros: Board has great components and nice features. SATA ports are finally placed in the sanest manner I've seen yet. Instead of cables pointing out into the box like some Medusa hairstyle they point at the drives - win. BIOS is ok, but some menus seem redundant. Overclocking this board is pretty simple. Was able to get 4.11GHz on my Core i7 950 without much fuss.

Cons: Ram slots crowd cpu socket area a bit. If you are running tall heatsinks on your ram and have a big after market heatsink they are going to be close if not conflicting. Still think floppy / pata is ridiculous on a top end board like this and others. Time to move on...

Overall Review: Second Gigabyte board I've had and both are solid and issue free.

Pros: Tremendous amount of power on tap. Modular cables. Quiet.

Cons: Flat cables that look like they just jumped out of 1980's PATA era are nearly useless. SATA plug orientation on cables is the exact opposite of just about every PSU I've had in the past several years making a neat and tidy install impossible. The fact that you have to start at the top and work down the stack of drives is ridiculous. This in effect DOUBLES the amount wire to mash into very tight real estate for cable management.

Overall Review: I would return this just out of frustration if it were not for the fact that it came from a combo deal here at Newegg. Get a clue, Corsair, people do not buy a PSU of this magnitude to toss in a web browsing rig. They run several video cards, multiple fans and drives and fully expect true functionality. This unit fails hard in that respect.

Pros: Price to performance ratio is outstanding. By itself a worthy piece of hardware, in SLI it puts every game I've tried in a headlock and doesn't let go. Also wasn't sure when I got them, but it seems, after reading several reviews here, they send out the SSC versions from all indications. This makes the clocks slightly faster than the baseline CO-OP GTX 295 for an added bonus.

Cons: Size of the cards if you didn't do your homework. There are plenty of reviews that clearly state these are jumbo sized units. These cards thrive in full tower cases. If you use a mid tower or smaller be prepared to potentially sacrifice a hard drive spot or two. Two stuffed in a cavenous Lian-Li PC-B70 do not have this issue whatsoever.

Overall Review: Trying to remove the smirk on my face is impossible when playing.

Pros: Once T.I.M. settles in this levels off to very nice low 40C's at idle on an i7 950. Under load it does not hit 80C with only the single supplied fan on it. Fan is very quiet even when spooled up. Baseplate was very flat on mine and finish is very fine. No need to lap and a test imprint proved it.

Cons: Not a big con, and known before purchased - size. This monster sized cooler takes up space around the cpu. Orientation was a one way ticket for me with Corsair Dominators and their tall heatsinks. You may want to keep that in mind making a decision. And the fan retainer clips are a little hokey, but do their job well enough.

Overall Review: The price of this cooler and its performance are just hard to beat. There are very few that can best it at sometimes twice, or more, the price. Installation tip: I read several different ways to place this thing while trying to maintain sanity. The easiest way i found was to set the motherbopard upright over two objects of the same height - bridged you could say (shoeboxes for example). This allows setting the cooler from above and still being able to start screws from below. A screwdriver tip or stubby works pretty well to snug them up before flipping to fully tighten them down. This way took less then five minutes to install for me.

Pros: Floored me at the speed it showed at stock. This is a real jump from a C2D e6600. Did a quick test with with some audio encoding - using wave to wavpack / 21 files / about 5.5 seconds. Amazing.

Cons: None except for mini clown free gift. Keep the toys kthnx.

Overall Review: If you're not looking to overclock and do not mind spending the extra for this processor you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Everything you could ever want in a case. 99% toolless and more room than you can shake a stick at. Huge video cards seem normal in this beast. The trick holddowns for expansion cards is very slick.

Cons: Not making the same model they make for an even more expensive brand here. It would have been my choice if there was one that had a Lian Li badge on the outside.

Overall Review: Second model from this company and it's doubtful I will ever go to any other brand. The quality is second to none and functionality is the best.
